You get what you pay for. It is cheap and quite clean even if i'm more used to cleaner bedsheets. The location is central and the restrooms and showers are clean too. Can recommend it, if you are not to picky.
Great location for my short visit to San Fran. The place was easy to find, bed was clean, affordable, and the staff were nice. I'd definitely stay again at the Windsor!
everything was really good.
it is highly recommended,
good price, clean professionaly
The room wasn't quite like those in the pictures (we didn't have access to a tub), but was pretty cozy nonetheless. They were also extremely flexible with the nights (ended up staying double the nights, which was great!)
Great price, and the people who work there are some of the friendliest people I've met. It wasn't the best neighborhood by far, but the people there made it feel perfectly safe, which was no easy task!
I would definitely go again, but I'd bring a power strip because the room only had one pair of plugs.
This place was close to everything, but also about a 5 minutes walk in the wrong direction. We were 2 girls, so we felt a little unsafe walking back to the hotel. The rooms were very clean though, and the girl at the front desk was extremely helpful. I think we got what we paid for. It's a good cheap place to stay. Just be a bit careful going back late at night.
The neighborhood is little funky but coming from NYC that's not a big deal. WiFi worked. Shower worked. Toilet worked. Room was patrician but very clean. Great Vietnamese restaurant next door. Blue Bottle coffee just a few blocks away. Excellent breakfast spot on the corner. Great bargain. Highly recommend for budget conscious travelers.
Not the shadiest area in that neighborhood and the place looks a little seedy from the outside but the rooms where very clean and well taken care of. The staff was very nice and accommodating, overall I thought it was a very good deal for the price I paid.
Easy communication beforehand, easy to find, easy to check-in. Very clean, utilitarian room. Also very quiet.
cheap, clean, exactly as described. 6th isn't the best street, but not too bad if you're used to living in a city. hosts were helpful and accommodating. would book again.
This place is not bad considering the price. You definitely get what you pay for but the area is prime to be around so much stuff.
Would consider staying again if I needed something quick and cheap in downtown SF.
