“La Concia” is a farm in the heart of Maremma Toscana under the hills of the Etruscan City of Vetulonia. A lorenese map of 1820 already marked “La Concia” as “Casetta della Concia” (the little house of La Concia). Today this building is a well restored and furnished house with the family’s antique furniture. It is our home and it is also an “agriturismo”.
The farm can offer hospitality up to six people (3 rooms and 2 bathrooms) and the possibility of either half board or B&B.
The cuisine is our strong point, using our own products (particularly olive oil from our own olive grove), refound use of wild herbs and aromatic plants, with attention towards reestablishing the traditional Mediterranean Cuisine.
The farm is barycentric in respect to different points of environmental, cultural, oeno-gastronomic and tourist interest:
the naturalist oasis and the thermal waters of Saturnia, Petriolo and Venturina; the wine roads and the beaches amongst the most beautiful and cleanest of Italy, Siena, Volterra, the Elba Island.
