It is located in downtown Barcelona. It is well-connected to public transportation and you can walk to the center area. We have a beautiful green area at 10 minutes away that is the lung of the city and it is very close to the sea, 5 minutes from La Rambla, 3 minutes from the Barcelona Cathedral. There are wonderful Gothic and Born districts where you will lose yourself in their magical streets. "Keep an eye on your belongings."
You can walk to several museums (Picasso Museum, Contemporary Art Museum), art halls, beautiful shops where artisans, designers and creators put all their love to eat. Thank you for visiting them!
The apartment has one small wc and there is another much bigger with shower. Towels and sheets are provided.
Wi-Fi access
The bedroom has a double bed and the loft is attached to the terrace where you will feel privacy, and enjoy the views of the cathedral. "You will sleep like a baby."
I feel that I enjoy a special space that has a very beautiful energy and that is what I want to receive and share for a fair price for everybody.
We do not have elevator, so your body will always thank you the cardiovascular activity. Then there is a reward: a welcome toast with water!

Please respect the privacy and tranquility of the neighbors on the stairs and into the apartment.

This apartment is absolutely awesome. You can not beat sitting on the roof top and have a glass of wine. The location is perfect it’s right near everything in down town Barcelona but it’s not too busy or touristy right by the building. Esther was the best host we could ask for. She let us check in early and gave us a great tour then when we left she let us leave our bags in the building until our very late flight that night which let us full enjoy our last day in Barcelona. The only part of the listing you need to be aware of is the stairs. My wife and I had no problem at all with them but if you have bad knees or a medical condition you should know you’ll have to get up and down a good amount of steps

This place is so cosy. Every room has a unique view of Barcelona. A lovely spot to just chill out. The balcony gets the sun all day if you are working on your tan. A brilliant central location with the market right outside the front door. The only downside is the 122 steps but it is definitely worth it.

Esther was a great host, very welcoming and accommodating. Yes there are lots of stairs, but as everyone has said, the balcony is the reward. Beautiful views. Wifi was strong, and there really is everything you need in the apartment.

Esther's place is one of a kind. It's central to all the spots you would want to check out in barcelona - you're immediately surrounded by history, bars and restaurants , and tranquility. Might not be the best place if you're big and tall or have mobility issues with 7(!) Flights of stairs and funky cool doorways and little steps throughout. However the space itself was bigger than I imagined from the photos. Esther herself is a gem as well - she was incredibly helpful at check in and also made checkout a breeze as well. recommended!!

One of the best AirBnB's I've ever stayed in! This place is perfect for solo-travelers or couples. You'll read in most of the comments below that the stairs are the big downside to this place, but don't let that deter you for a second. They are not that difficult to ascend and once you reach the top, you instantly know why this location is so desired. The view is simply stunning. You can see multiple cathedrals, the Sagrada Familia and you basically have a 360 view of the Gothic Quarter. A cool breeze will join you every night and you'll find yourself not wanting to leave your rooftop perch. The condo is spread out in such a way that you never feel cramped, plenty of space to read or relax. Once you step outside the building, you are in the heart of El Born. Right in front of you is a huge super market with a few restaurants inside, perfect to buy groceries and to grab a quick bit to eat before you head out into the city. You are moments away from the Picasso Museum, Basilica de Santa Maria and the Parc de la Ciutdella. Some of the best restaurants in the city are just around the corner from you. The location is also very convenient for reaching the city outside of the neighborhood. I recommend going to the Grand Hotel Central, right around the corner, to grab a quick taxi. On top of it all, Esther is an amazing and attentive host! When I first met her, she greeted me with a smile and lovingly hug. She'll tell you everything you need to know about the condo and has it fully stocked with towels, coffee, water and soap. Wi-fi is very fast and reliable. Any time I had a question, she responded to my texts instantly. In summation, book this place immediately. Esther is so badass, the location unmatched and the views soul-nourishing. You will not regret it.

The apartment is perfectly located in a lovely central district and close to St Catherine's market with plenty of places to eat nearby. Esther was a very friendly host. The outdoor space is great but be aware of the mosquitos at night. We were bitten badly on the first few nights and recommend you use the mosquito net from the start. We are not sure if it was just the time of year or some other reason but we found that they would bite us whilst we slept - the mosquito net whilst we slept stopped all of our bites.

Esther's place is great, the balcony was fantastic and the location is perfect. Would recommend. Could use some air con in the bedroom + some better chairs on the balcony! We had a great time here !
