It is located in downtown Barcelona. It is well-connected to public transportation and you can walk to the center area. We have a beautiful green area at 10 minutes away that is the lung of the city and it is very close to the sea, 5 minutes from La Rambla, 3 minutes from the Barcelona Cathedral. There are wonderful Gothic and Born districts where you will lose yourself in their magical streets. "Keep an eye on your belongings."
You can walk to several museums (Picasso Museum, Contemporary Art Museum), art halls, beautiful shops where artisans, designers and creators put all their love to eat. Thank you for visiting them!
The apartment has one small wc and there is another much bigger with shower. Towels and sheets are provided.
Wi-Fi access
The bedroom has a double bed and the loft is attached to the terrace where you will feel privacy, and enjoy the views of the cathedral. "You will sleep like a baby."
I feel that I enjoy a special space that has a very beautiful energy and that is what I want to receive and share for a fair price for everybody.
We do not have elevator, so your body will always thank you the cardiovascular activity. Then there is a reward: a welcome toast with water!

Guest access

You will have access to the entire apartment. I live two floors below.

Children under 22 years are accepted alone
Please respect the privacy and tranquility of the neighbors on the stairs and into the apartment.
Phone call 1 hour before arriving at the apartment.
No person is allowed to be known overnight.

Esther was so fabulous and her place is absolutely beautiful. Loved staying at this location. The private patio view up top was the best part!

Charming place in fantastic location. Bit of a climb but the view is worth it. Take some warm clothes if you're from Australia and not used to the European climate! Esther was super friendly and generously left the kitchen stocked with some things to get us started.

This was truly a Barcelona gem. Like the other reviews, there are many steps but the apartment is magical. Esther is a fabulous host and the apartment is worth every step. We loved our vacation here and time spent on the terrace enjoying wine and the city views. Thank you Esther!

We were so pleased with our stay in Esther's attic apt. It is an unexpected jewel! Please note, it IS an attic, so lots of stairs ( 125, I believe). Plus the doorway, and esp. the WC require you to be on the slimmer side. But the views from the terrace are worth the hike up, and the 'cozy' WC. ;)

Esther's place is beautiful. It beyond expectations really. The photos just don't do it justice. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay and Esther was so helpful if we hand any questions. We will definitely be staying with her again if(when) we return to Barcelona!

Esther's apartment and Esther are both treasures. The space is at the top floor of an old Gothic Quarter neighborhood and feels right out of a movie. It offers two bedrooms and a turfed patio that overlooks the city. The space is charming and has miles more character than any hotel or standard issue AirBNB rental. Esther was an absolute pleasure as a host and recommended two great restaurants and a local yoga studio. She even insisted on carrying my heavy bag up to the unit! Overall an amazing experience in Barcelona and I will look forward to returning soon.

The apartment is unique and authentic. It is very stylish and cosy. The apartment has great views from the terrace and it is situated in a great location for exploring the city. The place was very clean and equipped with all the required equipment. The host was very friendly and responsive. The only things which should be taken into account when booking this apartment are the absence of elevator, the staircases to the apartment being original (medieval), therefore, not wide as we might be used to and the bathroom and toilet being quite small (due to unique layout of the apartment on the top level of the building). Might be not suitable for small children. Overall it was the most original apartment we have stayed in during our vacations.
