The space
Newly remodeled apartment with bunkhouse room in a quiet complex just steps away from Toronto Wildlife Area walk-in hunting, 2 miles from Cross Timbers State Park and all of its wonderful walk-in hunting area, 7 miles from Woodson State Fishing Lake and its numerous acres of wooded and grassland walk-in hunting areas and 20 miles from Turkey Creek Lodge that offers hunting and fishing adventures to Military, Veterans and general public. Whether you're on a hunting trip or just a weekend getaway to the lake, this apartment is a great place to relax and spread out at the end of a fun filled day. Apartment 102 has a queen sized bed in the master bedroom, as well as a full sized bed and a set of twin bunk beds for your sleeping accommodations in the bunkhouse room. The living room boast a super comfortable dual recliener couch and a separate recliner. The Bunkhouse room sports a second living room set up as well. The TV in the primary living room and bunkhouse room are both Roku TV's for your entertainment needs.
We have a wonderful little market (Sandstone Market) on main Street that offers wonderful lunches and dinners as well as general snacks and limited grocery amenities. We also have a great little bait shop, Cross Eyed Catfish, located on main street for all your fishing needs. Just north up Highway 105 is a little gas station that offers dining and grocery options as well.
We understand that hunting and family trips can include mans best friend, your canine companion is welcome here at Sunset Hill. We do ask that you let us know that you would like to bring mans best friend during your stay, that all dogs be kept on a leash when outside of the apartment and please clean up after your pet when they have used the outdoors. There are resident dogs that live within the complex so no unfriendly dogs please. We realize that dogs like to bark but we ask that quiet hours be respected and as well as the consideration of the resident that lives in the apartment next door.
There is a large dumpster just around the corner from the apartment by the alley for trash disposal.
Laundry facilities are located just beyond the exterior exit door located in the bunkhouse room. Washer and dryer are coin operated and are available for your use should you need them during your stay.
We live just a few miles away and are available if you need our assistance at any time.

A small patio space is available for sitting just outside the front door of the apartment. There is a picnic table adjacent to the apartment just under one of the shade trees for your use. We just ask that guests respect that this item is a community use item and that residents may be using it at any given time.
Other things to note
We do ask that guests respect the privacy of our complex residents. We do have quiet hours from 10pm to 6am. We have ample parking in the parking lot, please no parking in the grass or alley way behind apartment. If you are bringing a boat or trailer during your stay, let us know and we can direct you to the best place to park them.

When I'm not hunting or spending time with my family including my 2 Golden Retrievers, our German Short-haired Pointer and our newest addition our English Springer Spaniel you can find me helping friends and neighbors.
