Two minute walk (one block) to Rincon Market. If you're going to cook for yourself get your meat only from Uri at Rincon. Also, they have a full selection of fresh veggies, wines and beers. You can also try their breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet or sidle up to the deli counter for sandwiches. They also open the grill for lunch and on the weekends serve killer custom omelets.

Dining: (Some of our favorites)
Walk to PJ's Subs (great sandwiches and cold beer).
Walk four blocks to Social House, Grimaldi's Pizza and Allegro il Gelato Naturale. So, so parking at best.
15 minute walk (5 minute drive) to the Tucson Tamale Factory. Saturday or Sunday arrive before noon and try the Huevos Rancheros. Extraordinary! Good parking.
15 minutes walk through the U of A campus to the Main Gate Plaza where you'll find Pasco and many other dining options as well as shopping. Its a 5 minute drive but parking is a hassle, hassle, hassle.
8 minutes by car to the world famous Kingfisher Bar and Grill. (A good crew, fab food and the bartenders know a good pour when you see it.) Tell them hello for me if I'm already there. Good parking.
6 minutes by car to El Mocajete (breakfast and lunch). Incredible mexican food known only to the locals. Mom in the kitchen, daughter running the front and family everywhere making it work. If you're there for lunch have a beer from the Silver Spur through the partition. Good parking.
10 minutes by car to downtown where V Fine Thai, Janos Downtown Kitchen, Hub and many other interesting eateries await. Take a cab or call JK Transportation for a Town Car that won't costs any more than a cab and the service is reliable.
10 minutes by car to McMahon's Steakhouse. Great, great beef and the best selection of cigars in Tucson. Try a 64, ask for Bob and tell him Granger says hello. Good parking.
15 minutes by car to St. Philips Plaza which is home to Vivace ((email hidden) and seafood lasagna), Scordato's Pizzeria (GF crust available) and Union House. Good parking.
