I adored this place! As a single female traveler I felt very safe. Great little space and hope to stay with you again when I am back in the city. A little home away, from home. Thanks so much! Xoxo
Margaret and Kate are great hosts. The house and the living area is very nice, clean and quiet. Margaret gave me an introduction to the city gave interesting hints regarding my time in Vancouver. Great city. The house is conveniently located to go around with public transport as well. Again many thanks.
I was with my boyfriend at Margaret's home. Margaret give us some good tips about the city and how to get to Downtown. She is very nice and helpful. The house is in a very quite area and has a beautiful garden to enjoy the last sunshine in September. Margaret offers us some new towels after two days. The rooms (bedroom and bathroom) are in the cellar of the home, but there are windows and an own entrance and Margaret give us full privacy.
My stay in Vancouver was brief but Margaret and Kate's place was a nice, easy spot. The bus is nearby to get into town, though I do wish it was a slightly shorter ride. I arrived my first day far earlier than I expected but luckily they were able to accommodate me since the room hadn't been used the night before. I really appreciated that! It was also super nice of them to have snacks laid out for me. The room itself is in the basement so on rainy days it is a bit dark with only the one small window but that was no big deal to me. Overall I had a very nice time there.
EMPFEHLENSWERT!
We loved staying at Margaret`s place, it was clean quiet and private. The place was decorated with an eye for detail from a travelers point of view. Margaret gave us helpful suggestions on where to go in the short time that we were in Vancouver. We had good talks with her at the beginning and end of our stay. We would like to stay again when we hopefully get back to the beautiful city of Vancouver.
Margaret was wonderful! She gave us tips on how to get downtown and which major attractions to see in Vancouver. You basically get the whole basement floor with a private entrance. The room is cozy, quaint and very clean. The kitchenette was stocked with fresh apple juice, milk, tea, coffee, breads and cookies! Big plus when traveling on a budget. Highly recommended if you don't mind the quick 10 minute Canada Line commute downtown.
Margaret was very kind and welcoming, but also gave us our privacy. We stayed for two nights and didn't see Margaret again after arrival (but we were out except for evenings).
We didn't meet Kate.
The house can be a little difficult to find at first.
The room/basement was very spacious. The WiFi was fast.
Be careful if you're tall (the ceilings are low).
We recommend CHAU VeggiExpress if you're looking for a place to have dinner.
This was my first experience with Air BnB, so I really don't have anything to compare it with. My visit was brief, but it met my needs for comfort and convenience.
Margaret met me and walked me to my room, we chatted a bit, and she was very nice. I slept well, and had a nice hot shower.
