Other things to note
• Like many homes in the Mt. Baker area, the cabin is near the Mt. Baker Highway. We’re in a peaceful neighborhood, but you may hear some vehicle noise from the highway during your stay.
• Cell service can be spotty depending on your carrier. Reliable WiFi is available at the cabin, so we recommend saving your check-in details before arrival.
• The cabin is intentionally designed for adults and is not suitable for infants or children.
• We love hosting small elopements and micro-weddings. Please send us a quick message ahead of time with details so we can help make it special.
• We get snow a few times each year. We shovel often, but depending on conditions, you may still need to drive through some snow or ice.
• Our neighborhood is under a temporary boil-water advisory out of an abundance of caution. For peace of mind, the small tap on the right side of the kitchen sink provides fully filtered and UV-treated drinking water.
• During hot, dry summer periods, Whatcom County may institute burn bans. If that happens during your stay, the outdoor fire pit cannot be used and firewood will not be provided.
• Wildlife occasionally passes through the neighborhood, so please do not leave food or garbage outside. Please use the indoor trash or the animal-proof outdoor garbage bin.
