Communication was excellent regarding the apt-not ever with Issa but with several others that took care of the apt. Good neighborhood that felt safe and the apt worked out fine for our stay. I will say as a single women I would of liked to have known that the apartment was at street level, meaning the door opens out to the sidewalk. We were there on a Friday night and the noise from the adjacent apartment went on well into the wee hours of the morning. A good airbnb experience all and all.
This studio was as described and met our needs. It's a clean and comfortable little nest in a nicer NYC neighborhood.
The complete kitchen and easy-to-access laundry were much appreciated during our 10-day stay. The area has good subway access, good restaurants, and good grocery options. Much to our surprise, we were able to find free parking on the street in front of the studio.
The host canceled this reservation 61 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My boyfriend and I stayed four nights in Issa's apartment. It's quite well situated, near Columbia University on the west side. The apartment was clean and comfortable - a great place for a few nights. For those driving, it was very easy to find parking on the street near the apartment as well.
This placed totally worked for my needs. It was super clean, well organized and bonus for NYC - not a walk up!
The location was perfect for me because I had an event in the area but there isn't a ton to do nearby unless you are going to Columbia. I had a ton of bags so being on the first floor was great, but it does mean there is a bit more noise.
Perfect spot for one person to crash when you need to be near Columbia for a couple days.
The listing description was accurate. Issa was very welcoming and prompt to answer our inquiries. The apartment was clean, well equipped and convenient for mass transit. We really enjoyed our stay!
