A really lovely space. Very peaceful. Sadly my schedule was such that I was unable to meet Kathleen, definitely my loss. House was very clean, beds very comfortable. I slept great. Thank you so much Kathleen, I really appreciate you opening your home to me.
Kathleen was accommodating and left instructions and notes on everything that would help us along with our stay.
As we were leaving my wife and I both thought we would love to stay here again.
Excellent energy throughout this home.
I can't say enough about how pleasant my stay has been with Kathleen. Her home is a dream. Some people are gifted with an eye for design and beauty, Kathleen is one of these people. She's a realtor by profession and you can tell she knows her craft. The home has a great lay out and is well appointed with everything you might need for your stay. If you love to cook, you will love it here! My daughter and I had lots of fun preparing delicious meals in the kitchen. We needed a soft turn key place to land for a few weeks and that's exactly what it has been. We're sad to go but I'm looking forward to staying connected with Kathleen. Thank Kathleen for providing a first class experience for our first airbnb stay!
I'm so happy my home was the peaceful oasis you needed ~ I loved having you and your family as my guests ..transitions are hard sometimes ~ so I'm glad your stay here helped make your's a little smoother.. by the way, you left your juicer on the kitchen counter...text or call me, so we can arrange a time for you to pick it up! didn't have a chance to say goodbye to Nina so please send love to the "girls" ~ thanks so much Ingrid and we'll talk soon! xo
The lovely Kathleen was willing to accommodate my two week stay with only a day’s notice! She had a beautiful, peaceful room plus dinner waiting for me and could not have been more welcoming. A Malibu resident for over 30 years, she was the perfect hostess and guide to the Malibu area. With her guidance, we went to gorgeous restaurants/ wineries and even to her secret beach. She could not be a kinder, funnier or more genuine person. The house is very welcoming, clean and comfortable in a great location in the mountains near the ocean. (It looks very much like it does in the photos.) I can whole-heartedly recommend this property as a peaceful place that makes you feel at home.
A note from her other guest, my sister:
I had the pleasure of staying at Kathleen's for a week during my sister's longer stay there. The house is beautiful with very tasteful furniture and decor. But the real winner is Kathleen. She was unbelievably welcoming, endlessly generous and fabulously entertaining (particularly during the episode when we tried to catch a chicken which had escaped from her neighbour's farm). My mum and I were able to spend huge chunks of the days in the house, without feeling that we were getting in the way. She was very helpful in providing tips for local activities/eateries, and also joined us on a few occasions. It seemed totally natural that we were able to meet her family - she welcomed us into her home as though we were friends. I've heard that there is such a thing as an Air BnB "Super-Host". If Kathleen isn't a "Super-Host" already, it's only a matter of time.
Kathleen is a wonderful host, making one feel like they are visiting family. Her house is a little oasis, a beautifully decorated and maintained 3BR MH that is ideally located between Calabasas and Malibu. Everything is homey, comfortable, clean and delightful, and provides a great little hideaway for getting to the beach, or exploring the mountains. Kathleen is very thoughtful and attentive to your needs, and yet provides all the privacy you may need as well. I would return without hesitation and highly recommend for anyone looking for a lovely, quiet centrally located getaway...!
