The local area is safe and quite wealthy with expensive houses around (Hammersmith is the 3rd most expensive borough in London after Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea) and has a "village-y" and friendly feel with lovely Victorian houses around, little shops and pubs. The big shopping high street is within 5 minutes walk with lots and lots of shops. Nearest Hammersmith tube is 5 minutes walk. Heathrow airport is 30 minutes away by tube train or by car/taxi. Central London (Piccadilly) is 15 minutes away by tube.

Around the corner from the apartment, you will find a restaurant, a pub and a café, as well as two corner shops / convenience stores for groceries and a beauty shop. Ten minutes away by foot is the main shopping street of Hammersmith: Kings Street, with banks, a multitude of cafés, restaurants and shops (e.g. Marks & Spencer, Boots, Primark, H&M etc.). Further away is the Westfield shopping centre (behind Shepherds Bush station). Westfield is one of the largest inner city shopping centre in Europe with 374 stores, many restaurants and a large cinema.
Hammersmith & Fulham is just west of central London, sitting on the main transport routes into and out of the capital to the west – the A4 and A40(M) Westway trunk roads. Hammersmith is served by several London Underground lines- the District, Piccadilly, Central and Hammersmith & City. Heathrow is only 30 mins west of Hammersmith and the West End is only a short tube ride away.

Onstreet parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays and between 5pm - 9am on weekdays. Otherwise it is pay at meter at £2.20 per hour. Local meters accept credit cards.

There is also a lovely Ravenscourt Park nearby with its world famous gastro pub the Anglesea Arms (4th best gastro pub in London, the Times Nov. 2013) which I personally recommend for inexpensive good food experience.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE/ TOWELS AND BED CLOTHING
The apartment will be ready and cleaned for you before your arrival. Fresh towels and bed clothing are also provided and all is included in the total price. You will be given a set of towels per person. The Bedding provided in the flat is according to the number of people in the reservation, for example two people in a one bedroom flat, only the double bed for two people will be set up if you do need the use of the sofa bed and bedding a charge of £15 per night will be apply, this must be requested in advance.
Stays longer than 7 days: if you need another set of towels per person please ask and we will arrange it for you.
Stays longer than 15 days will have a weekly cleaning comprised on the total price.
Any other extra cleaning has a £25 cost.
If you are staying less than 7 days and need an extra set of towels it has a cost of £10.
The final cleaning is comprised in the total price, so you don't have to clean the apartment deeply. We only ask you not to leave it very dirty like dirty dishes pots and pans, empty bottles of beer, wine, etc…
IF YOU HAVE ANY CLEANING ISSUE PLEASE LET US KNOW STRAIGHT AWAY AND WE WILL SEND THE CLEANER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO SORT IT OUT :)
The renter is responsible for the property during his occupation and will also be responsible for the correct and decent behavior of all the persons accompanying him/her, and specifically avoiding any activity that is against any law or public health. He will also undertake to keep the property clean and tidy and to replace any damages he has caused. Please bare in mind that you'll be staying in a residential building. You'll be expected to respect other residents in the building. Please observe that quiet is between 10:00 PM. And 10:00 AM. Any loud music or noise observed between these times may result in immediate eviction and loss of the damage deposit.
Please be aware no extra visitor will be allowed in the property apart from the guests on the reservation without permission.

Diego's place was very nice. It was a great location. Walking distance to grocery, restaurants and subway. It was spacious, comfortable and clean! And Diego was easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. Highly recommend this place!
The flat was absolutely as described. Easy to get to when driving in from the M4. Location was perfect for the Apollo.
Nice place, spacious. 2 separate bedrooms and 3rd - livingroom which can be turned into 3rd separate bedroom (sofa).
Contact with Diego was excellent, no problems, no problems with picking up keys.
Quite good localization - about 10-15min walking distance from Hammersmith underground.
Cleaning - could be better, but for 2 nights it was ok. Clean towels, sheets provided by Diego.
Apartment needs some refresh - quite big stains on wall in 2 rooms.
Beside this - i truly recommend this place as a nice to stay.
I stayed in this flat for two night with my family made up of four people including myself. The flat was tidy and cozy and looks like in the photos. The position is not the best but, after all, it is just 5-10 minutes walking by the nearest underground station. We arrived later than 11 pm and we had to pay 30 pounds of overcharge. Despite my request of instructions about how to collect the keys, Diego told us the how to get them just when we were just outside the flat. The first day the shower did not work due to the lacking of the hose. So I told him to solve this problem and the day after was fixed.
After all, I think you can find better places where to stay in London for the same price. Even because, just in case, you do not have to pay any overcharge.
Everything was as stated. Entry was uncomplicated. Beds comfortable.
Coffee maker a lifesaver.
Nice and quiet area, close to central London (2 bus stop to Hammersmith tube, well connected), lot of shops and restaurants.
Regarding the flat itself: it’s quite spacious and nice, fully equipped (in the kitchen there is everything for cooking; microwave, washing machine, hair dryer, iron ), but cleanliness was not at top.
It was relatively clean, but not so clean like I expected: bath, kitchen and linen were enough clean, but there was a lot of mold near the tub, dust in wardrobes and inside kitchen cabinet, bath carpets not really clean, bad smell (ok carpet on floor doesn’t help for smell even if clean but the smell was really strong), in one bedroom a window handle was broken so it was really difficult to open and close the window, the kitchen is really too old (with broken doors). Hot water and heating work properly (but we found the apartment cold and we didn’t know how heater worked and there were no instructions).
We had no problems to get into the place using the key in the lockbox, but we felt quite anxious not to know the box code till we were in front of it, we’ve paid in advance and we’d have preferred to know it in advance, also because my English is not very good and I couldn’t understand very well what the host was saying by phone.
Moreover we asked for the address of the agency in Shepherd Bush in advance and the host didn’t tell us, so we arrived in London with only a phone number and the flat address, hoping everything was going well!!!
We never met Diego, but he was nice and e-mailed us to ask if we need something.
Diego ALWAYS answers to mail, and we really appreciate it.
We couldn’t leave our luggage nor at arrival nor at leaving, even if on the announcement they claim they can take luggage in their agency, and this was uncomfortable (but we asked Diego some days before by mail and he told us he couldn’t keep our luggage, so it was not a surprise).
We don’t know if recommend it or not, probably yes for the money/location.
