The Mireles family is very kind and friendly. Chela and Betty are helpful and respond prompty to questions and concerns to make sure you are happy and comfortable in their house. The house is very conveniently located, about a fifteen to twenty minute walk from the historic center. Tasty, affordable local eateries all around. The famous hot dogs of "los chinos" is just a block away, for anyone craving a late night bite. The house is well-equipped tough generally old and worn; things need to be used with care. Lovely, peaceful courtyard. Overall a nice place to stay if you are there alone or with one or two more people. When the house is full as it can be during much of the academic year with exchange students, it tends to be rather loud and feels a bit crowded. Also, women traveling alone should keep in mind that this neighborhood and the city center in general tend to empty out after dark. Overall, however, I had a very pleasant stay and would rerturn with pleasure. Certainly value for my money.
Excellent house, excellent location, very safe to walk any where in downtown, the house is very clean and Nadia's mom is a great person, they have fast internet, hot water all times, washing machine, and all what you need from a full house.
I recommended this house for any body that wants to stay in a centric safe place.
