The space
Baannai is a colonial house renovated for modern day comfortable stay. The host, an interior designer, intended to reminisce the glorious days of the house “Baannai-the house in the middle” where her 3 beloved great aunts used to live happily and surrounded by other family members in the other houses around it.
Bedroom 1 - Botan: This room is the only room on the ground floor of the house, with private entrance, outdoor sitting space, and outdoor Jacuzzi tub.
Bedroom 2:
This room is named “Benjamas” or Chrysanthemum. It represents the character of the eldest sister who was graceful, almost formidable yet full of kindness. This room has a bit of masculine touch. The tone of colors in the room gives a calm and solemn sense with no use of vibrant colors. The custom made rattan furnitures mimics the old time home decoration when this material was very popular.
Bedroom 3:
This room is named “Kularb” or Rose. It represents the character of the youngest sister whose beauty was doubtlessly agreed on. She adhered to pride and dignity. She was well-dressed and took a good care of her appearance. She was fond of traveling both to local and international destinations. This room is the most spacious one in the house, including an antechamber to the right side that sits a tea table. The white tone represents good taste and charm. The addition of white lace embroidered curtains and decorating items complements the room of a lady in her prime.
Bedroom 4:
This room is named “Malisorn” or Jasminum sambac flower. It represents the character of the middle sister who loved handicraft, house keeping, cooking, and gardening. This room is meant to reflect womanly tenderness and liveliness, using most vivid colors of all rooms.
Guest access
Apart from your private room, you will also be able to access the public area of our property i.e living room/dining area, garden, and second floor balcony.
Other things to note
- Please note that per Thai Immigration Regulation, we need to report of foreigners’ stay in our property, therefore, before check-in, please send us copies of passports. All guests who are staying at our property are required to submit these documents. Your passport information will be used for security purposes only. We have a full right to deny your check-in without any refund if you do not comply on this.
- External visitors and/or unregistered guests are not allowed to entry.
- As this is a residential area, please be respectful and mindful of other residents.
- Please also note this is our own residence and is not a hotel. You are renting our room with amenities provided without any refill and no hotel-like service will be provided
- Our team manages this listing remotely including self check-in/check-out. We do have our on site housekeeper to assist you but they are not fluent in English. Therefore, please communicate with us here in Airbnb or call us, we will try our best to address your concern/problem.
- The standard check-in time is at 14.00hrs. early check-in is subject to confirmation and additional charges may be applied.
- The standard check-out time is 12.00hrs. late check-out is subject to confirmation and additional charges may be applied.
-Do not change shower head and shower hose. It will impact to water pressure. Any damage oe malfunction, penalty fee of 1000 baht will be charged.
