We will do everything we can to ensure you have an enjoyable stay! We are always available by phone, email or text. We also have a local property manager and local friends who have offered to help.

The neighborhood

We believe we are in the perfect spot on Grand Bahama Island! You don't need a car to walk to Port Lucaya. It's a 10 minute walk. Yet you're far enough away that you don't feel like a 'tourist" and subjected to constant vendors selling things. Our beach is about as good as it gets! Some of the other beachs on the island are very rocky. Not ours! A perfect blend of white sand, gradual ascent into the water and a long beach to walk on.. You can walk the length of our beach and get a great work-out, take a swim, then stop in our beach bar for a bite of lunch or a cold Sands beer!

Getting around

A car is not necessary, unless you are here long term or just very adventuresome! There are plenty of cab drivers & public "jitney" vans to get you where you want to go. Most tour operators will also pick you up and drop you off at Coral Beach. Another thing to consider: as a former British Commonwealth, the Bahamians drive on the left side of the road!

Hi! Our association requires that we submit a rental application for every rental at least 5 days in advance that includes the name of each guest. We are required to pay 12.5 % tax on every rental, in addition to Bahamas 7.5% VAT. The Airbnb rates don't allow us to add this in. We usually split the taxes with our guests. We'll send you a "special offer" on the advice of Airbnb since their rate structure doesn't allow this tax.

No smoking anywhere in our condo or on our patio.
Please, no overnight guests that we haven't authorized. Thanks for your understanding!

Hi everyone! We moved to Marco Island to get away from the cold New England weather in 2009. Love it here and don't get to our other home in the Bahamas as much as we used to. We love living on the water and spending time at the beach or on our boat with friends.

About our Bahamas listings:
Don has been going to Grand Bahama since he was in college, when his family started buying condos there. We've owned three units at Coral Beach since 2006, Started with CB unit #1503, a great studio on the fifth floor in building One. Loved it so much we bought two adjoining units on the sixth floor of the same building, this unit 1605 and 1603 in 2012 and now we rent all them all to nice people! At Coral Beach, location and owner upkeep are everything! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! All of the owners have different standards of what they may or may not think is a "nice" view, decor, or...I think you get my drift?! Some of the places haven't changed much since the 1970's.
We've updated and stocked our units with great things to make your stay enjoyable. And should you ever discover you really need ____to make your stay complete, we'll do everything we can to locate it for you on our tropical island!

About our Marco/Goodland property, we recently began hosting it with Airbnb. So far it's been a great experience! We enjoy sharing what we love about Southwest Florida with our guests.
