Cute as a button, our cosy 300-year-old Grade II listed boutique cottage in Mithian, St Agnes, lets you be a part of history while enjoying a romantic escape. Relax in the cosy courtyard, stroll to the nearby highly rated Miners Arms, or take a short drive to Cornwall’s stunning beaches and scenic coastal walks. Named by The Guardian as one of the UK’s top 50 holiday cottages, it’s full of charm, comfort, and Cornish character.
The space
One up, three down – a charming 300-year-old boutique cottage and romantic bijoux retreat. Step back in time while enjoying all the comforts of modern luxury. Please note: some doorways are low and stairs steep, so it may not suit guests with limited mobility or taller visitors.
Downstairs: stylish wet room with underfloor heating, jam-pan basin, and Bramley toiletries. Fully equipped kitchen with Neff oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, butler sink, Dualit appliances, ROK coffee maker, and integrated fridge. Cosy lounge with leather sofa, dining for two, and Smart TV with Netflix.
Upstairs: romantic bedroom with Vi-Spring double bed, Egyptian cotton linen, dressing gowns, slippers, and vintage-style record player with vinyl selection.
Outside: private enclosed courtyard with cobblestones, seating, lighting, and outdoor power. Wi-Fi included.
Extras: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, fresh flowers, treats, and dog welcome packs (£20 per booking).

Walk only a few steps to a historic pub with roaring fires and great beer. In nearby St Agnes, there's great food at The Tap House, The Driftwood Spas, The Peterville Inn, great coffee at The Sorting Office, shops include a bakery, butchers, florist, greengrocers and newsagents. The South Coast Path is close by dipping down to various stunning beaches and dotted with engine houses as a reminder of times past. You really will be spoilt for choice. Coasteering, surfing, or even a flying lesson. Whitewalls is the perfect location!

I love travelling with my family both near and afar, I absolutely adore Cornwall where I live, I love the sense of freedom, the slower pace of life and the tranquility of a sunset over a beach, I love walking over the coastal paths and the basics of a barbecue on a beach in the evening. I have 3 children one who is exploring herself now and two who are at home. My daughter is registered blind hence we have chosen to support Soap Co with our toiletries. I also love to garden.
