On the east shore of Lake Winnebago, this cozy cottage is the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. From peaceful mornings to picturesque sunsets in the evening, every moment spent here will be one to remember. Whether you're seeking some rest and relaxation or an active outdoor adventure, our cottage offers the ideal setting for creating lasting memories.
The space
Inside you will find an open concept with large glass windows looking out to the lake. There are 3 Bedrooms recently refitted with enough room to sleep 7 comfortably. Bedroom 1 features a twin over full bunk bed, bedroom 2 has a full size bed and bedroom 3 is fitted with a queen. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to use, or cook outside on either of the 2 charcoal grills that are setup and ready to get grilling. Outside there is a raised fire pit that overlooks the lake for campfires, enjoy your favorite treats and gaze at the stars when the sky is clear. If conditions are not favorable to enjoy outside, the 4 season room is cozy and fully protected from the elements. The exterior wall facing the lake features extra large oversized windows letting in warm natural light with incredible views from anywhere in the living room.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cottage, it sits on .78 acres with additional yard area across the street. The garage is locked but allows additional parking for 2 vehicles in front. Keyless entry with pin pad to access cottage. Code will be sent prior to reservation by email. Private dock to use during season.
Other things to note
ARRIVAL time is 3:00 pm CST | DEPARTURE time is 11:00 am CST: If the cottage is ready before 3:00 pm, you may be allowed to check in early. You must call ahead to make sure the home is ready. Do not enter your rental early without permission. We do ask that if you plan to leave prior to your scheduled departure date, that you notify us by phone.
Late check out - You must make contact and be granted permission must be given prior to the reservation date if late check out is requested. We cannot guarantee permission but will do our best to accommodate.
Compliance and final agreement
We’ve set these house rules so that every guest visiting our property has a safe, secure and the most enjoyable stay at our cottage. Remember every guest in your party is in compliance of these rules, for our best wishes as hosts and so you are compliant with State and Local municipalities. CANCELLATIONS: Thirty (30) day written notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur a $100 processing fee only. Cancellations or changes resulting in a shortened stay, which are made after 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment. NO REFUNDS will be given for cancellations made within thirty (30) days of arrival. In an attempt to mitigate monetary losses to our renters due to unforeseen circumstances, it may be permitted to change a reserved rental period for another rental period (with the same rate) equal to or longer than the original booking with no penalty. Requests are individually based and no guarantees are made. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. Should there be a fire, flood, sale of the property or any other circumstance that would prevent the owner from renting the property, the owner reserves the right to cancel the reservation at any time. The renter’s sole remedy for said cancellation is a full refund of all rent payments, cleaning fees and any security deposit paid. If such an event occurs after check-in, renter’s sole remedy is a pro-rated refund.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT: The foregoing constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and may be modified only in writing and signed by all parties. Each section, subsection or paragraph of this Agreement shall be deemed severable. If any portion of this Agreement is unenforceable, it shall not affect the applicability or validity of any other portion of this Agreement. This agreement and any modifications, including photocopies or facsimiles, may be signed in one or more counterparts, each of which will be deemed an original and all of which taken together will constitute one and the same instrument. If there is more than one renter, all renters are jointly and severally liable under this rental agreement. By placing a reservation, ALL terms and conditions of this agreement are deemed accepted and receipt of the information herein acknowledged.
