Definitely quirky indeed! It's such an interesting layout and a great place to stay if you want a little character. We stayed only one night while we were driving down the Garden Route and we had all we needed for the night.

Adorable space! My kids and I so appreciated the SPACE in this airBNB - there are actually four rooms. We loved the quirkiness of the 'dungeon' and the little passage to the bathroom. A place for adventure and stories. The pizza oven is fun but do your research before you attempt…

This is a special cottage indeed! It is decorated in antiques with a lovely outside deck and inside fireplace. My son loved the downstairs 'dungeon' bedrooms and we had a great stay. Antoinette is a very attentive host!

Beautiful old world charm home. Very spacious. A little chilly in the 'dungeon' area, but bearable.

A quirky log cabin indeed! My family and I enjoyed being able to sit out on the deck and watch the day pass. Antoinette was full of great recommendations for things to do, including a wonderful farmer's market. This is a good place to stay if you're en route to other destinations…

Host was kind and accommodating. Bathrooms beautifully renovated. However, the house is dark and kitchen, upholstery and living room curtains need a fresh revamp.

Response from Antoinette:
Thanks so much for your feedback. The upholstery and curtains are going to be revamped shortly. I am not sure what the issue is with the kitchen as it is a fully functioning kitchen and I have added things each time a guest makes a suggestion. The rooms where one sleeps are dark because of the curtains, but I assumed that this is what people require. There is a passage to the bathroom which may be dark if the lights are not turned on, perhaps I can look into seeing if more can be done here. Upstairs in the living area is bright and the entire entertainment area has glass doors and windows and is full of light.

I am passionate about whole food plant based eating. I adore my garden for its food quality and the lessons I learn. I love reading biographies and gardening books.
