  • Fernando's place is the perfect quiet oasis in Mexico City. Great location in pretty, walkable colonia condesa, and very easy to get to other parts of town via the metro or taxi. Our room was clean and lovely with a comfy bed and a great shower! :) The communal kitchen with coffee machine was much appreciated as well. Fernando was on vacation while we were there but was quick with communication via email, and Lalo was around all the time and very helpful to us. Highly recommended if you are looking for an affordable, cozy and peaceful place to hang your hat while in Mexico City. Thank you Fernando and Lalo!

  • A very nice room with a private bathroom, clean, comfortable and cosy. In Condesa neighbourhood, very safe and well located, 10-15 minutes walk from the subway station. Also very quiet. Fernando was very accommodating: we arrived late on Christmas Eve, but he did everything to help us and we were able to access the room as soon as we arrived! We did not meet him (because of the Christmas Holidays), but Lalo was here to welcome us and help us during our stay. There is a kitchen with free coffee and tea anytime, which is nice. The weather wasn't so nice during our stay, so we didn't enjoy the lovely terrace and little courtyard, but it seems perfect to drink one's coffee in the morning or after a long day visiting the city!
    I highly recommande this place!

  • We loved staying at Fernando's place. The space was lovely and the location is perfect. Lalo met us and made us feel very at home!

    It was a great stay!

  • Fernando and Lalo were very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure I had a great stay in Mexico City. Condesa is a great neighborhood, very safe. If I go back to Mexico City I'll definitely stay at Fernando's place again. Great house and great people.

  • What an awesome place to stay at. The attention to detail, the cleanliness. Everything was great. Lalo who is in charge of the house was very nice, helped with directions, and was always very helpful in anything you needed. Eva and Carmen the cleaning ladies, keep the house spotless, were always willing to help as well, and made sure you had everything you need in your room. The house is big, it has great common areas. The neighborhood, is quiet, tree lined and closed to great places to eat and hang out. It is also, walking distance to paseo de la reforma, bosque de Chapultepec, and close to metro and bus stations. If you're thinking about it, book it. It's a great place to stay at. Bed is comfortable too!

  • Lovely stay in Condesa, both times. I stayed in the studio the first time, and a room with private bath the second. (The main difference: the studio had its own little fridge and kitchenette, a small table to work/eat at, and a patio w.table.) Both were very comfortable, showers were great. The house is very clean and comfortable--very convenient to have a shared fridge and kitchen, laundry, and wifi; there's a lovely shared upper patio and a sitting room as well. Free coffee and lovely welcome bread and cheese, which was perfect after a long day of travel. Thank you!

  • The room is in an area called Condesa which reminds me of being in the village in NYC. Close to many restaurants, shops and cafés. I only stayed one night and the room was very clean, contemporary and spacious. Lalo (helper) was very gracious and showing me around the apartment. He shown me how to get to the double decker tour bus. I did not meet Fernando since I was going to join my tour group. I would definitely recommend this place and it's a good home base to explore Mexico City.

  • The apartment is on a lovely street in a beautiful, leafy neighbourhood which is full of great bars and restaurants. There was someone there to meet us when we arrived and to explain the area and the facilities. The apartment has a great atmosphere, is very clean and tastefully decorated with a communal kitchen and laundry facilities. There is also a lovely courtyard and terrace. Its a nice medium between staying at hotel and in a locals house. Fernando was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall a fantastic place to stay!

  • I rented 2 rooms in this house from Fernando but my friend stayed at this room. The room was a fine size with a normal sized bathroom and was well decorated. But I left my real review under the other room in that house that I personally stayed in.

Please read my other review. We were not happy staying at this house. But there are good points to it too. However, I wouldn't recommend it.
