Had a great stay at Gordon's apartment. Very well located, comfortable apartment with all the amenities. I'll look forward to staying again sometime soon.
Gordon was very welcoming. I felt more like a resident than a guest and had an amazing experience. Gordon was very helpful in helping me sort out things as I was relocating to Ireland. I was lucky enough to have a tasty dinner of one of his favourite dishes and had such a good time. Excellent service....
If you are planning to stay in Cork, Gordon's flat is an excellent option. It is ideally located because it's right in the middle of the city. As a host, Gordon is considerate and helpful, he also possess great local knowledge.
We would definitely recommend this host for anybody looking to stay in Cork.
We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Gordon's flat. Upon arrival he gave us some excellent recommendations for local bars, restaurants, and day trip ideas. We had full access to his kitchen, which was great because we did some grocery shopping at the famous English Market, which is less than a 10 minute walk away. Definitely recommend staying with Gordon!

Gordon's place is great. Very centrally located and you can walk everywhere from there. The place is clean and well-maintained and you have a private room and shared bathroom as well as use of the living room and kitchen. Breakfast is self-service which suited us perfectly, and there was coffee, bread, juice, yoghurt and cereal. Gordon is very friendly and easy to get in touch with if you need anything!
Gordon's flat is a great place to start exploring Cork. He lives right on the river, only a 10 minute walk from Cork's bars, restaurants and other interesting things (don't miss the English Market). The apartment is really tidy and has a nice couch and chair to lounge in. Gordon is also a great guy - I enjoyed talking with him about everything - politics, history, science, etc. His orientation was excellent. It started with a map upon which he showed us where the best bars, music, museums and points of interest are.
With regard to parking: Gordon let us put our car in the car park each night and take it out during the day, which was great. Since he has to buzz you in himself, you can't keep going in and out with the car during the day. This won't be a problem for most people (it wasn't for us) who go out in the morning and just come back in the evening. But just keep that in mind if you plan on going out and coming back multiple times a day with the car.
Overall it was a great stay. I highly recommend this place.
