We stayed with Kristina for 2 nights.
Her place in Bantry is currently being renovated so we stayed in her new house in Glengarriff, just 20 min away.
This house is in a beautiful location, right on the water!.
Kristina lent us her canoe and we travelled over to Garnish Island for a picnic, .....amazing!!
She also showed us around Bantry and its beautiful gardens.
Kristina is a perfect hostess and she provided a tasty organic breakfast everyday.
We finally found Kristinas house up on top of the hill. On driving up her drive we saw all the roof tiles strewn on the ground beside her house. Kristina told us she had a fire and half her house had been destroyed. We wanted to stay in the roundhouse in the garden but there was no running water or sanitation or electric. We had to go and find alternative accommodation in downtown Bantry which was not rated so we only stayed for one night and moved on to a more expensive b and b. As well as loosing my booking fee of £9 I also had to pay an extra £35 for a better place to stay.
Kristina is a lovely host and we really enjoyed staying at her house. Boys loved treasures and the amazing view from the window was another advantage.
Kristina went above and beyond as our host. She drove us to her favorite local swimming spot and to a local fair that was happening in her awesome camper. The room has everything you might need and she has a lot of interesting things throughout her home that we loved looking at. Her home is also perched atop a hill overlooking Bantry with a beautiful view. Highly recommend Kristina's place and is a great value for what you get. Thanks Kristina!!
Kristina was a very friendly welcoming host, accommodating our breakfast preferences and giving us local information. we stayed in the roundhouse, which was warm (July) with a woodburning stove. it was rustic and had nice views. Kristinas place is in a really convenient location too for exploring the peninsulas and west cork.
Agréable séjour chez Kristina.
