The apartment was just recently completely renovated and modernized. Everything is new, neat and tide. As you can see from the pictures it’s very fine furnished with some antique pieces too. The treatment’s friendly and helpful.
All of Trastevere’s charming cafes and restaurants are at your doorstep. The magic atmosphere of the neighbourhood draws visitors, with its narrow, winding streets.
By just crossing the Tiber, the most historical important sites of the city can be reached and you can walk through the old streets of Rome.
Trastevere, located on the right bank of the Tiber, is the artists old quarter of Rome, very typical, full of many kinds of shops (restaurants, pubs, bars, pizza shops, artists shops, antique stores, pharmacies, grocery stores, delicatessen stores, supermarkets, internet point etc.).
The name Trastevere comes from the Latin language (Trans-Tiber) and means 'just crossing the Tiber'.
In fact, in the past the City ended on the left bank of the Tiber.
Living in the famed Trastevere quarter is a truly interesting and memorable experience.
Pick-up service available on request.
Usually, the check in time is about 2:00pm and check out time's about 11:00am.
That because, just in case some guest's arriving in the same day others guests
leaving, the chambermaid can have time to clean the apartment.
Meeting and greeting went smoothly. Alessia was very helpful with advice regarding the apartment and general area details- (shopping, restaurants, transport etc.).
The apartment is fantastic. Well fitted out, bright and spacious with high ceilings and large windows with views of the neighborhood. It lacked nothing in the facilities offered. Secure entry door off the street into internal courtyard and elevator is a bonus. Air conditioning was really appreciated during our summer stay.
It is in a quiet area of Trastevere but still close enough to feel like you are part of the the wonderful lifestyle and nightlife that this area has to offer. Enjoyed my walks to Gianicolo which was just above us.
I would love to return to this apartment one day.
our stay was an overall very pleasant experience; a spacious and nicely furnished apartment, excellent location near the Tram station and surrounded by restaurants, pubs, nightclubs etc.
however we have encountered a few problems during our stay: the main bathroom and the shower itself was pretty unsanitary, not enough toilet papers (we were 7 girls and were provided with only 4 toilet paper rolls), as well as not enough kitchen supplies as forks, knifes and cups... we had to eventually buy them for ourselves at the supermarket nearby. our main problem was, nevertheless, that for our last day we couldn't find a place to store our luggage and we had to constantly press on our host to find a solution (which she had promised us even before our arrival).
we eventually stored our things in the storage room of the building.
in short, we had a very nice and enjoyable stay, and without those small problems it would have been perfect. if you're a group of up to 8 people you'll be very satisfied with this place.
We were a family of four staying for a week in June. The apartment was bright, clean and very comfortable. It is located less than a block from a nice piazza with a playground, outdoor movies (summer) and an outdoor food market (there is a supermarket nearby too). Best of all, the restaurants in Trastevere are no more than five minutes away, meaning you're close to the action without the street noise mentioned on other listings. And the driver Alessia secured for us from the airport was very easy to connect with, kind and helpful.
Alessia was a great host, very responsive to communications, and very quick to answer when we had questions. The apartment is very spacious and modern--it looks even better than the photos. Highly recommended!
Good location to explore Rome. Great selection of restaurants and bars in the area. Apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Rome. Despite inconsistent communication response time, Alessia was helpful when needed.
This penthouse apartment is everything we wanted for our week's visit to Rome. It was also completely accurate with the website listing. It is bright, sunny, airy, roomy and well equipped. It is in a fabulous neighbourhood full of locals walking their dogs and little pizzerias to dine in, plus supermarket etc. The access to the major sights is either a walk away or a tram ride, which is all very easy to work out. Alessia is a competent host who trusts her visitors to be independent, yet is easily available if required. We would certainly return and recommend it to others.
What a great place to stay, it is in such a perfect position. We could walk all over Trastevere and even right into Rome quite easily. There is an abundance of cafes, restaurants, shops and even a local market within a few blocks. The apartment had everything we needed and we felt very safe in a locked building. The only drawback was that the wifi was so slow that we couldn't use it. Alessia did try to fix it on our last day but it still didn't work.
