Traveling in a group of 5, we had a wonderful time at Riad Maeva. It was our first stop in our trip and Bruno kindly arranged a private transfer from the airport to Jemaa el-Fnaa - where we met his representative, Hassan, who walked us to the Riad. This all went seamlessly. The Riad is exactly as pictured - very clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. There are 3 bedrooms on the second level, each with its own full bathroom and individual AC units in each bedroom - which was definitely needed. We were there in October and didn't expect the weather to be as hot as it was - as that is not the norm there for that time of year). The location was great - very close to the main square (Jemaa el-Fnaa) and easy to navigate to - felt safe walking home at night after dinner, etc. Was also easy to get to the better souks that more off the beaten path (as the markets around Jemma el-Fnaa are interesting - they are a little too touristy for my taste. I live in NYC and I would compare to being in Times Square). Communication with Bruno was easy and quick. I encountered a miscommunication with our booking that as resolved quickly and fairly with Bruno and it was very much appreciated. Overall it was a great experience and amazing value for the price!

Large beautiful house close to Jemaa el-Fnaa. We went in July during a heat wave and the house was surprisingly cool.

Hassan and Jamella are treasures, making our stay a sheer delight. Perfecto dinners, breakfast and taking care of all needs. Jamellas couscous is as good as any restaurant can produce.

Amazing Riad. Right near the main square but on a quiet side street away from the chaos. We did not have the pleasure of meeting Bruno but Hassan and the team could not have been more accomodating. It was truly wonderful and they are wonderful people. Highly recommend!

The location was just a 7 minute walk from the lively main square. Close by there were many street vendors for food and shopping but it was just far enough where you didn't hear the hustle and bustle from your apartment. Hassan greeted us in the square where our car dropped us off and we walked over to our riad. His sister prepped dinner for us as we settled in (as previously discussed). They were very kind and attentive. The food was plentiful and good. It was a nice experience to see what home cooking would be like. The riad was spacious, clean and eloquently decorated. The reason why I am deducting one star is because there was a slight smell of sewage in the common area. When we arrived it was it very faint and over powered by a lovely jasmine candle. However, as we used the bathrooms more, the smell got stronger. The smell never got out of control. Nor did we ever smell it upstairs. You really only notice it when you first walked into the riad. I did contact the host regarding it and he informed me that it was the city's fault for not treating water in that quarter. Although the smell wasn't too strong, the slight smell did deter us from using the common area, which is a shame because it was a very cute space. Hopefully, it was just a one time occurrence. This wouldn't deter me from staying here again if I find myself in Marrakesh.

Bruno's coordination allowed for an incredibly smooth arrival and Hassan's hospitality was top notch. The riad was beautiful with an amazing terrasse, and right in the hustle and bustle of the Medina as well. Amazing stay overall, would recommend to anyone

A bientôt!
