A fully-equipped kitchen, living room with a wood stove, full bath with tub and 3 cozy bedrooms ensure you will never forget your stay in Blidensolstrædet (that's the name of the Street which translates to "Happy sun street").

Sindre has communicated excellently and has been extremely helpful. The house is beautiful. It is warm, clean and comfortable, we had an amazing time in Stavanger. It's in a lovely historical part of town and even has views of the harbour from some of the rooms. Thank you!
Vi bor her gjerne igjen.
We had a great time staying in Sindre's tastefully furnished home in the old town of Stavanger.
The house was warm and welcoming with plenty of room for the five of us, and gave easy walking access to all of the local sights.
Would definitely recommend.
We had a great stay in the house with the family (incl 2 kids). Though we did not meet Sindre in person he was very responsive in emails. Everything (like keys, wifi etc) was well organised.
The historic house is well maintained & has a great atmosphere.
Its location is 'old stavanger' which is the number one tourist attraction in Stavanger. From the house you look directly onto the harbour area were many nice restaurants are located. Shopping area, supermarket and musea (including Oil Museum which is a must-see if you ask me) are all well within walking distance.
We came by car even though we did not use it much in Stavanger itself. Car parking is an issue as everything seems to be either paid parking or parking areas for residents. We parked our car closeby in a paid parking garage for 150 krones per night.
All-in-all a great stay in a very nice house with a good host!
Sindre was an excellent communicator via email. Although we didn't get to meet him, he emailed instructions as to how we could get the key etc. His home was in a great position and was an excellent place for two couples to stay - three levels with a kitchen and living area in the middle and bedrooms both above and below it. Kitchen was a good size and we cooked in it on several nights after purchasing seafood from the fish markets. Sindre's home was only about 10 minutes walking distance from the bus station. Highly recommended.
This is a wonderful cottage right near the water in the most picturesque and oldest part of Stavanger. It is conveniently located for shopping and nightlife, but nonetheless also quite quiet and peaceful in the evening. The house is nicely appointed and simple with a good functional kitchen. There is only one bath, but everything works well. The internet was excellent. Sindre was extremely accommodating of our interests.
