I live together with my two sons in an apartment on the 4. floor in Nørrebro Copenhagen. The apartment has 4 rooms and is very charming, bright and comfortable.
I offer a large and spacious cozy room, which is furnished with a very comfortable king size double bed (180 x 200 cm).
The room comes with a shared kitchen, bathroom and a livingroom. In the livingroom you can eat, watch TV and relax.
The pride of the apartment is the huge roof terrace, where you can sit, eat, sunbath, chill out and enjoy a fantastik view over a cold glas of white wine.
There is also a green backyard with tables and benches, where you can sit and relax.
I will provide towels, pillows and blankets.
Please send me a message with a bit of info before booking!
Nørrebro is Copenhagens Kreuzberg. It is a vibrant and trendy area of Copenhagen only minutes away from the city centre. Trendy bars and fashionable designer shops lie next door to dodgy dive bars and cheap kebab places. The poeple here are cool and casual and so is the neigborhood.
Nørrebro is known for its poly-cultural society. The dynamic, multiethnic main street Nørrebrogade runs through the area, with a multitude of shops and restaurants.
Elmegade is full of small designer shops, and in Ravnsborggade (right under my home) antique shops are lined up. Sankt Hans Torv (2 minutes walk from my home) and the streets around it is the place to be for dinner and drinks. And at Assistens Cemetery, you can visit the grave of famous Danes (Søren Kierkegaard, Niels Bohr and H.C. Andersen), or do like the Nørrebro citizens and relax in the park like area.
My street is on the edge of the Copenhagen Lakes (Søerne). the minute the sun comes out, the vast area around the lakes fills up with strolling couples, panting joggers, brunch devoters, kids feeding the ducks, and bedst friends sipping cofee while talking in the best views of the city. Do an early morning jog on the paths surrounding the lakes (6 km.), or head for one of the cafe´s: Kaffesalonen at 6, Peblinge Dossering, Café 22 at 22, Sortedam Dossering, and Den Franske Café, 101, Sortedam Dossering. Excellent views!. During sommer you can rent rowing boats.
The flat is located very close to the center of Copenhagen, less than a 9 minutes walk.
TRANSPORT FROM COPENHAGEN AIRPORT
It is very easy and quick to get to from Copenhagen Airport to the flat. From the airport you take the metro line M2 and get off at Nørreport station. The trip takes only 14 minutes. From Nørreport station you can either take bus no. 5A or walk. It takes about 5 minutes by bus or 12 minutes to walk.
If your accomodation is on Nørrebro, busline 5A is the best option, as it sets out from the Airport, and runs through the Inner City, stopping at Nørreport station for interchange with the Metro and S-train lines. It continues through the length of Nørrebrogade, with stops at Elmegade and Ravnsborgade.
Nørrebro lies within a manageble walking distance from Nørreport Station and the northern entry point to Strøget (the famous danish walking street). Walk in Northe-eastern direction down Frederiksborggade, until you reach the bridge across the lakes, once you've passed it, you're on Nørrebro and 5 minutes from my home.
The easiest way to get around in Copenhagen is by bike. You can rent a bike from the bike shop "Luca's cykler" near me for DKK 50,- a day. Address: Fredensgade 15, 2200 København N.!
Gila's flat is the perfect spot in Copenhagen. There are so many windows and the area was quiet and quaint. There is a wonderful cafe right across the street and I highly recommend the Hell's Kitchen sushi roll at Kung Fu down the street. We easily walked the length of the city and absolutely loved all of the shops near Gila's place.
Gila herself is such a kind person. We wanted to watch the sunset on the terrace and she made us tea to enjoy amongst all the flowers. She always had a smile and offered excellent suggestions for food and sight seeing. We were only there for two nights but they were the most relaxing moments of the trip. The flat is perfectly situated and that rooftop view breathtaking.
We stayed at Gila's place for one night on july, 2014. The room was very clean, with great natural light. Location is also very good, in a quiet corner - we could sleep the hole night with no disturbance. Gila was very welcoming and answered quickly all messages, making it easy to arrange everything at our arrival and departure. Wifi worked great too.
Gila was very welcoming and extremely helpful when I discovered I had lost my mobile phone! The room is pleasant, large and full of light.Gila was also more than happy for us to use her lounge room and television. The rooftop, complete with tables, chairs and pot pants is very pleasant.
We had an excellent experience staying at the apartment of Gila. It is in a very nice location and interesting and lively district. In addition, Gila was very kind to us.
I totally recommend this place. The perfect base of operations to visit Copenhagen (specially when you take into account how expensive the hotels are). Moreover, if you are lucky and experience a sunny day in Copenhage, you must know that the rooftop is awesome for these days :)
Gila is a so nice and friendly person, very helpful! She also gave us advices regards our holiday.
The room is very big and wonderful, and the whole flat is cute. The roof terrace is wonderful and we saw an amazing sunset!
I LOVED the walk on the 'river' to arrive to the flat!
I really appreciated this place.
It was our first trip to Kopenhagen and afterwards we can say Kopenhagen is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Gila's apartment is wonderful, the room huge and cosy, the bed really comfortable and the rooftop is just amazing!!
Gila is a wonderful host - very kind and helpful.
Definitely a reason to visit Kopenhagen again!!
This was actually my first Airbnb experience, and it couldn't have been better. Gila was so nice and flexible, and the room was in the corner of the apartment, offering two different views of lovely Copenhagen. The rooftop terrace is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend this conveniently located accommodation in this beautiful city.
Gila was an excellent host, and her place was very nice and comfortable. It's also in a great part of the city. We were able to walk and bike everywhere we wanted to go from there. She also had some great directions for the train and bike rentals. I would definitely stay with her again and recommend her place to friends. Thanks, Gila!
gila was the most gracious and friendly host you could ever get. the place is as beautiful as pictured and the area is really a hipster one. easy to get around to city centre from the house, plenty of cafes and restaurants and takeaways in the vicinity. just a super small note - there is no elevator and the apartment is on the top floor so it'd be a struggle if you've got huge luggage like me. but i'll come around to gila's place again if i visit copenhagen, huge luggage or not! highly recommended!
My mom and I had a really nice stay at Gila's apartment. We really felt at home and the locations was great. Two thumbs up!
