About This Listing
I live together with my two sons in an apartment on the 4. floor in Nørrebro Copenhagen. The apartment has 4 rooms and is very charming, bright and comfortable.
I offer a large and spacious cozy room, which is furnished with a very comfortable king size double bed (180 x 200 cm).
The room comes with a shared kitchen, bathroom and a livingroom. In the livingroom you can eat, watch TV and relax.
The pride of the apartment is the huge roof terrace, where you can sit, eat, sunbath, chill out and enjoy a fantastik view over a cold glas of white wine.
There is also a green backyard with tables and benches, where you can sit and relax.
I will provide towels, pillows and blankets.
Please send me a message with a bit of info before booking!
Nørrebro is Copenhagens Kreuzberg. It is a vibrant and trendy area of Copenhagen only minutes away from the city centre. Trendy bars and fashionable designer shops lie next door to dodgy dive bars and cheap kebab places. The poeple here are cool and casual and so is the neigborhood.
Nørrebro is known for its poly-cultural society. The dynamic, multiethnic main street Nørrebrogade runs through the area, with a multitude of shops and restaurants.
Elmegade is full of small designer shops, and in Ravnsborggade (right under my home) antique shops are lined up. Sankt Hans Torv (2 minutes walk from my home) and the streets around it is the place to be for dinner and drinks. And at Assistens Cemetery, you can visit the grave of famous Danes (Søren Kierkegaard, Niels Bohr and H.C. Andersen), or do like the Nørrebro citizens and relax in the park like area.
My street is on the edge of the Copenhagen Lakes (Søerne). the minute the sun comes out, the vast area around the lakes fills up with strolling couples, panting joggers, brunch devoters, kids feeding the ducks, and bedst friends sipping cofee while talking in the best views of the city. Do an early morning jog on the paths surrounding the lakes (6 km.), or head for one of the cafe´s: Kaffesalonen at 6, Peblinge Dossering, Café 22 at 22, Sortedam Dossering, and Den Franske Café, 101, Sortedam Dossering. Excellent views!. During sommer you can rent rowing boats.
The flat is located very close to the center of Copenhagen, less than a 9 minutes walk.
TRANSPORT FROM COPENHAGEN AIRPORT
It is very easy and quick to get to from Copenhagen Airport to the flat. From the airport you take the metro line M2 and get off at Nørreport station. The trip takes only 14 minutes. From Nørreport station you can either take bus no. 5A or walk. It takes about 5 minutes by bus or 12 minutes to walk.
If your accomodation is on Nørrebro, busline 5A is the best option, as it sets out from the Airport, and runs through the Inner City, stopping at Nørreport station for interchange with the Metro and S-train lines. It continues through the length of Nørrebrogade, with stops at Elmegade and Ravnsborgade.
Nørrebro lies within a manageble walking distance from Nørreport Station and the northern entry point to Strøget (the famous danish walking street). Walk in Northe-eastern direction down Frederiksborggade, until you reach the bridge across the lakes, once you've passed it, you're on Nørrebro and 5 minutes from my home.
The easiest way to get around in Copenhagen is by bike. You can rent a bike from the bike shop "Luca's cykler" near me for DKK 50,- a day. Address: Fredensgade 15, 2200 København N.!
