We stayed in Atlanta for a weekend to attend a wedding. This cottage was perfect - a very convenient location in a nice residential neighborhood. We went on walks in the morning, close enough to walk to restaurants or a neighborhood market. The fully-functional kitchen was stocked with coffee and snacks, local TV channels are provided, and the bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend!
We had such a great weekend at Kelly's cottage house - it had everything we needed for a weekend away. We were pleasantly surprised to see such a thoughtful arrangement of information and maps about the area, plus interesting artwork and books about Atlanta, also. Kelly and James were available right away if we needed anything. Thanks for a great stay!
This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay in a great neighborhood. It is quiet with a private driveway and entrance - lots of privacy. Everything was set up like a hotel with respect to having the necessities yet it felt more like a home. Kelly was easy to get in touch with and very kind. I would highly recommend staying here.
This is our second stay at the Cottage. It is our favorite place to stay when we visit Atlanta. The location is wonderful, very clean and comfortable. They have everything in the kitchen you need or even want. The area is very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. Parking is great and the outdoor screened in porch is a great place to have your morning coffee.
Kelly and James were phenomenal. I booked the cottage for 10 days to have a home base while I looked for a permanent place in Atlanta. We arrived on the coldest night in about 30 years - James came over to greet us to make sure we were warm enough, and came back later to bring us extra blankets. The cottage is cozy and fully equipped, the neighborhood is filled with beautiful homes and great places to go for a run. It was a nice retreat from downtown, which is only a couple miles away. Perfect for a couple, or even two friends, as there is a nifty sofa bed in the living room. I'll miss you guys!
I'm not sure this experience could have been easier or more comfortable. Kelly was supremely responsive to communication and the cottage was absolutely perfect. I can't think of a single thing I would change. I definitely plan on staying here again when near Atlanta. It's an easy and scenic 45-50 minute walk to Decatur and Little Five Points is even closer. Thanks, Kelly!
Keeping this spot on my "wishlist" for future visits to ATL. Kelly was easy to get in touch with and laid back while being available. Candler Park is a beautiful neighborhood and this cottage is like a home away from home. Loved the porch, although we did not sit on it in the morning. I want to next time... Our stay was short so we spent the one morning we had walking around the neighborhood admiring houses. Several cafes are within walking distance. We chose Radial Cafe since we have a Flying Biscuit in our town. The food, service & atmosphere were exceptional. :D This sounds like I'm getting off subject but being able to walk to such an cool restaurant is one of the perks of this airbnb. Back to the cottage, everything in the place was a happy finding. Comfortable bed, plenty of soft linens, a desk for getting on your computer, the kitchen with a dining table in the corner.... The neighborhood is quiet yet just minuted from the city. Thanks Kelly!
We just stayed in this cozy cottage for 5 days and it was perfect for us! It was close to Emory, in a family oriented neighborhood, and within easy walking distance to an incredible park, a few restaurants and a little market. It was even more charming inside than we expected. Kelly was a very gracious and helpful host, and though we ended up not needing anything beyond what was naturally provided, I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend this cottage for your stay in Atlana, particularly if your visit requires you to be near Emory or the CDC.
Clean, quiet Cottage with soft towels, a comfortable bed and a cute little porch to have your morning coffee. The cottage met every need and was close to downtown while having that neighborhood feel. We had a car; however, a Marta station is not far, 20-25 minute walk. Would stay here again, especially in Autumn, the colors are wonderful! Thanks again Kelly.
Cute little apartment converted from a garage. Comfortable. Clean. Quiet. Pull out couch meant that our daughter, a student at Emory, was able to stay with us. Kelly was very helpful and flexible. Would definitely stay again.
