  • This was our 1st Air BnB stay and we had a really nice experience! The house is beautiful and located in a great area of Louisville close to lots of things to do. The room was great w/a ridiculously comfortable bed! As other people have mentioned, the shower is just amazing. I'd definitely recommend staying here to friends, family, and anyone reading this!

  • Susan's house is in a great neighborhood and location in Louisville. I would highly reccomend this place for a single male traveling on business or visiting friends and family (for no other reason than I am high maintenance when it comes to bath accomodations.) I've discovered that I don't like to share. If this does not bother you, then you will have no problem. The parking situation is also plentiful and safe.

  • The place is perfect, cozy and comfortable. The hospitality is very generous with complementary bottle of wine, a coffee machine, towels, robes, soaps, etc. Susan and Larry were very kind and interesting to talk with, we wish we could stay longer. The neighborhood is lovely, walking distance to the hip Bardstown rd and a few minutes drive from downtown.

  • First, this was my first experience with airbnb… and it was all positive. Regarding my lodging experience, Susan and her husband are excellent hosts, offering great hospitality in a very nice, quiet home. I slept really well, which is important to me when traveling. The location near Cherokee Park and the Bardstown Road area is perfect. I only regret that I didn't have more time to explore the area, shops, bars, and of course the park. Highly recommended. I can't wait to go back.

  • Our room was great - clean and comfy. The in-room refrigerator and microwave were a great added convenience. Awesome shower - didn't try the steamer, maybe next trip. Wonderful amenities over all. Susan and Larry were great hosts. We were only there for two nights and out of the house for most of the weekend, so we didn't get a chance to hang out with them as much as we would have liked, but they seem like fun, interesting folks. The three dogs and cat were a bonus to us since we are pet people and miss our animal loving when we're away. Great neighborhood, plenty of places nearby to eat and cool things to do. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Louisville!

  • Such a beautiful welcoming house! on a quiet street -- a very relaxing place to stay, and walking distance from restaurants and bars. The wine on the bedside table is a nice touch :) as is the Keurig coffee maker. Susan and her partner are kind interesting people. I will stay again if I get a chance!

  • I was in need of a bed on very short notice and Susan was gracious enough to accommodate me. It is a private room in a great location. Everything was clean and the shower is great. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch as well. I would definitely recommend Susan's house.

  • My wife and I decided to stop in Louisville on our way down from Chicago to a wedding in Asheville. It happened to be New Year's Eve, and Susan was wonderfully accommodating. She communicated proactively with us on our way down and made sure the house was open and accessible to us even though we arrived a bit later than expected and she'd had already headed out to a NYE party. The location is quite convenient, on a quiet side street with ample parking and walkable to a number of great bars/restaurants on Bardstown Road.

  • Susan and Larry were fantastic hosts! Our first experience with Airbnb couldn't have been better. Wonderful house in a great location – walkable to all of the bars and restaurants in Highlands as well as Cherokee Park, and a short drive to downtown. We can't wait to go back to Louisville and stay with them again.
