Public transit is wonderful in Louisville, and we are a block away from a major bus line that can take you downtown to the river front.
We do have pets (cats and dogs) and we keep them out of the way when we have guests.
We were welcomed instantly, warmly, with the added surprise of wine in our room. The room was clean, pleasant, easy to be comfortable in.
The neighborhood was quiet, on a cul de sac, with a front porch just made for relaxing. A city bus line was only a block away to travel into the city and their were restaurants everywhere.
This stay was just as described, and previously reviewed; the room has all the amenities and the bed and pillows are so comfortable. The adjoining bath is spacious with a wonderful shower. There is complimentary shampoo, coffee and wine. Susan's and Larry are very friendly and generous with their home.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. My boyfriend and I enjoyed every bit of our visit, and we were sad we only got to stay for a short bit. The room was lovely and spacious, the shower was amazing(!), and the neighborhood was beautiful. Not to mention, for the runners and bikers out there, it is located close to a very large park with extensive running/biking trails. To top it off, what gracious hosts! We would love to return.
Very nice place, very clean, very accommodating, responsive, and hospitable!
Susan's place is picture perfect and an outstanding place to stay. Located in a beautiful neighborhood, the house has incredible old world charm, and Susan and Larry make you feel at home right away. With spa like features (steam sauna, rain fall shower head and massaging water jets), above and beyond amenities (small refrigerator and microwave in the room), and an infectious personality this BnB has everything. Located just minutes (walking even) from a slew of popular restaurants and bars, it is easy to stay entertained if you need more than great conversations on the front porch.
I enjoyed staying at Susan's place. Room was cozy and clean. She had a couple of bottles of wine in the room, TV and Internet access. Her home is walking distance to a variety of restaurants. She was very kind to take me to work and arrange parking at her workplace for me for the weekend since that's where I had to be for work. I shared the bathroom with another guest. Hope to be able to come back to Louisville and stay at her place.
Ideal airbnb experience. Great hosts, happy to accommodate, beautiful home, well-kept room, amazing backyard, hammock, friendly dogs, and a nice, quiet neighborhood. Would definately stay again.

About the Host, Susan
I love sharing my home and listening to all of the adventuring people who come through Louisville. My home has as much farm as you can fit on a postage stamp. We raise Chickens, Bees, Tilapia and Hydroponic vegetables year round. I love to share my knowledge on Urban Farming and with a little notice I am always ready to teach bee keeping, cheese making, how to keep chickens, hydroponic set-ups, etc... I hope you will visit soon!
