  • Aaron is a cool and great guy! We came in the night without any food for dinner. He cooked some extra food for us. It was so tasty. We had a very nice dinner and good conversation with him. He gave us a good tour around and lent us his jackets, since we forgot to prepare enough winter clothes in a summer season. We can use the kitchen for cooking and the chalet is so cosy. My husband and I would like to give him SIX stars!!! :)

  • Chambre petite, mais bon lit. Accueil EXTRA! Aaron est vraiment très gentil et très agréable. La vraie surprise est au petit déjeuner : Excellent! A recommander à des jeunes. :)

  • Aaron is an exceptional host, and a great chef. On our first night he prepared dinner for his guests (we shared the cost between us) and by the end of the evening it was like we had all known each other for years. He is very knowledgeable about the local area and extremely helpful in planning what to do and where to go. The chalet is cozy with shared facilities – more like a hostel than 5-star hotel! – but comfortable and welcoming and we very much enjoyed our stay. Would we stay there again – absolutely yes! Thanks Aaron

  • Book and don't think twice! This is such a great place to stay. I literally hadn't plan my trip, went for two days, just needed to be in the mountains to do some hiking. Aaron has given me all the advice, helped to figure out the route, told me where to go, has given me the backpack, water, made great breakfast and amazing dinner in the evening for everybody who was staying in the chalet. Arron is not only a great companion but also awesome chef so make sure you book your meal when you get there. I couldn't have wished for a better stay, considering I have never been to Chamonix before. I felt very welcome, met great people, had lush food, slept in a cosy sweet room (the whole chalet is really pretty!) and all this is such beautiful location. Thank you!!

  • We had a very good time at Aarons place. Excellent company by Aaron, his lovely dog and the other guests. Aaron was very helpful and could recommend a few nice walks. The house is cozy and welcoming, a nice place to chill out after a days hiking.

Aaron est un hôte sympathique. Malheureusement, la chambre du rez-de-chaussée ne représente pas du tout les photos affichées et l'atmosphère de la maison est plutôt celle d'une auberge de jeunesse.
Aaron is a friendly host. Unfortunately, the ground floor room doesn't look like the posted pictures. The house atmosphere looks like a hostel one.

  • Aaron was a great host and my girlfriend and I spent an enjoyable two nights at his place. He was very helpful when we arrived and had plenty of suggestions for ways for us to enjoy the town and the surrounding mountains.

The room we stayed in was private and comfortable with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. We also enjoyed hanging out in the yard (more great views) and house chatting with his other guests.

His place is a ~20 minute walk into downtown Chamonix, however you can catch the train into town (only a minute walk to the station from his place). There are also numerous other conveniences nearby (supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants).

Overall we had a great stay and I recommend Aaron to anyone who is heading to Chamonix to enjoy the mountains.

I’m relaxed, friendly and I love to help. I’m a traveller and have been for 15 years. I enjoy visiting new places and showing people the places I love the most. Chamonix has been my "home away from homes" quite a few times over the years and I have decided to make it my base camp from now on. The mountains provided me with inspiration and enormous beauty. I’m a keen skier, snowboarder, climber, trail runner, speedwing and paraglider pilot. Its a joy to wake up amongst the stunning back drop of the Chamonix valley and no matter the weather or season there is always something to do. Feel free to message me if you would like to know anything about the accommodation, activities or Chamonix in general. Im here to help. ABOUT LEANNE: I met Leanne when I was working for the Chamonix Red Cross. I found her in a parking lot where she had been staying for a few days. She was warming herself over a small gas cooker, which wouldn't have lasted the night so I took her in, fed her and gave her shelter. This is where our story starts. Leanne was a Scottish Refugee seeking asylum in France after being persecuted for her alternative lifestyle and dirty hair. After a month of retraining and 13 bottles of "Head and Shoulders" Leanne was integrated into the general population and started working as a gypsy handler/keeper. Leanne's time wandering the globe as a "Vagabond" aided her in recognising their needs. She soon became one of the stars of the village and her work was highly sort after. Leanne and I started Chalet Inora as a way for us to have a better lifestyle, showcase our skills and provide a warm and caring environment for whom we like to call "Independent Travellers". We both hope you choose to stay with us! Chalet Inora (its the Bees ankles)
