Share my big, bright, off-street suite, perfectly located in downtown Menlo with walkable access to anything that matters, including downtown Palo Alto and it's famous Stanford campus, plus covered off-street parking and your own bicycle.
Share with me — and only me — no roommates, no other guests, almost like having your own apartment, with your own private bedroom & bath, total access to a big living room, dining room, fully-stocked kitchen, a shelf in the fridge, TV, WiFi and a stationary exercise-bike. For your car, an off-street parking-space, or get around on my bicycle, or, for an extra fee, my car is available on a trip-by-trip basis.
The quiet 1500-SqFt space is completely furnished, on top-floor with high ceilings and big windows on both sides for maximum bright light. The bed accommodates two (small surcharge for double-occupancy). The entrance involves climbing only ten steps but could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.
The neighborhood is downtown and upscale: cafes, restaurants, bars, three name grocery-outlets, theater, banks, drugstore, train/bus stations, shuttles — any place that matters is walkable. Near Silicon Valley with downtown Palo Alto and it's famous Stanford campus an only half-hour walk away, 10-minutes on a bike. Also located right between three major cities and three major airports, each 45-min away.

Paul was a welcoming host, he was easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions I had before arriving. He was very helpful upon arrival with moving in my bags etc. In addition he was knowledgeable about the area and provided plenty of recommendations regarding local restaurants and even provided some coupons. The listing was accurate, a private room with a private bathroom, internet and cable were sufficient, and the parking was off street and safe. Paul was also an interesting conversationalist and non judgmental, if I wanted to spend time chatting he was available and if I just wanted private time there was nothing awkward or uncomfortable..the bedroom was private and had a big window that provided great morning sun..the bed was a platform style low to the ground but firm and comfortable..there was enough room in the closet for all my luggage and a small desk for working was suitable. The location in Menlo Park was very convenient and no more than a block or 2 from the busy main thoroughfare and the Caltrain station. I didn't cook but the kitchen was fine and available . Paul was always more than happy to share a cup of coffee anytime..As per his listing the guest made the rules....When Paul was around he was always helpful and wanted to make sure that everything with the stay was satisfactory..
Great stay at Paul's place. I had a late check in and he was waiting for me. Great host! Felt like home.
Place is small, but very nice. Comfortable bed. Very good location.
I had a very nice stay at Paul's place. He was very nice and helpful, and the room and the private bathroom were very nice and clean. The location is great, in downtown Menlo Park, close to everything, including Caltrain.
Paul has been an amazing and very friendly host. He made my stay enjoyable and comfy. We had many conversations and he gave me all the info I needed regarding the town and living there. He even offered to use his bike and went out of hist way to help me move after my reservation ended. The place is clean and central in Menlo park (close to Calstation, cafes..etc) and also close to Stanford. I would highly recommend staying with him.
Paul has made my first airbnb experience an delightful one. His place is clean and definitely in the center of menlo park, close to everything you may want. It is close to markets, drugstore, cafe, restaurants, and the caltrain station. Paul is friendly and tries to answer any questions you have about the area. I will definitely consider airbnb/Paul for any future trips.
The place to was as expected - clean and comfortable. Off the street parking included. Close to the Stanford campus.
Paul is a great host, and extremely welcoming. His place is in a great location as well.
I would definitely stay here again if I needed a place in the general area.
