Equally distance from Boulder, Lyons, and Longmont, but worlds away. The house is partway up a small hill, at the end of a short rural dirt road, lined by nice houses. Wish I could have stayed longer, it was so stunningly quiet. Private entrance, very upscale and nicely done inside. Host was particularly welcoming. The two donkeys even came right up to the fence to say hello.
This place is special. Everything was as advertised. A great location for visits to Boulder and Parks.
The room is wonderful located with beautiful views. We had a private entrance, a small bedroom area with a comfortable queen bed, a bath with shower and tub, and a lovely sitting area/breakfast room with a gorgeous view of the foothills. Specially with sunset. Having access to a fridge and coffee maker was a plus for us. Also the room has some personal touch when arriving with fresh flowers, etc. Communication went very smooth and although we didn't meet Cynthia it was good talking (e mail) with her and her respond was always very quick. We had some conversation with her husband (from Ireland) and their son, a very nice person aiming to be a horse trainer.
Thanks for everything.
One small note: the family lives upstairs, and sound carries through the floors pretty easily
Cynthia provided a lovely accommodation - exactly as described. She was gracious, stayed in communication prior to our visit, had a family member there to greet us on our arrival and was there to greet us personally later on even though we arrived back to the suite rather late after visiting with our son. She and her family were the perfect hosts - there if you needed them but not in your way if you did not.
The personal touches Cynthia provided were also very sweet and much appreciated - a nice stock of bottled water in the fridge, along with coffee, tea, sugar and half and half plus little bouquets of wild flowers on the table and the nightstand. Everything was lovely - especially the hammock (spent a glorious hour napping in the sunshine...cannot think when I last had a nap!)
I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough - you will feel rejuvenated after your stay here!
We had a wonderful time at Cynthia's home. She and her family have such a lovely relaxing area with great views all around. It was great to see the wildlife living in peace and harmony with Cynthia and her home. The apartment and furnishings were very clean and comfortable. We have family out there so we definitely will stay there again and have already recommended her place to others. Our sincere thanks go out to the Weir family for sharing their warm hospitality and home with us.

Our little family had a fabulous stay at Cynthia's! The place was just perfect, in any sense, and priced to beat any other option in the area. You will not get such comfort and views in any hotel. Ever. It is far from the hustle and bustle of Boulder but still close enough for an easy commute. Cynthia was graceful and kind and provided recommendations about hiking and activities in the area. Take it. Seriously don't even think twice.
Cynthia’s place is a dream come true for those looking for a quiet super comfortable stay, close to all the amenities of Boulder. She is also the perfect host, making you feel welcome as well as giving you your own space. the view from the hammock at sunset is sublime, and the small fridge and table combination, made for some amazing breakfasts with a view. I plan to come back again, as I only spent 2 days there, but enough to fall in love with the place, would definitely go back for a longer period if I get a chance. Unless you really need to be in the center of Boulder, I would recommend you stay with Cynthia, and just do the 10min drive into town!
Cynthia has created a place to relax and breath. It was so inviting inside and out I didn't know where to sit first! I will definitely return.
What a peaceful and lovely respite for us city folks. Spent most of our time discovering the back roads and sitting on the porch for the view. Great birds in the AM after all the rain and lots of little rabbits coming to say hello (heard the coyotes, too). Thanks, Cynthia, hope to return soon.
We had a lovely time staying at Cynthia's home. Loved the attention to detail in the art and furniture! The salted caramels she left on the pillows were so thoughtful and especially made us feel like home. It was really in the center of everything and just the calming oasis of what we needed after a long highway drive from Yellowstone. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful home!
