The Space

One or Two female guests(In very rare case I accept male guests, usually I will not let male and female guests share together, if so, I will first ask guest) share this room with me.This 25 m2 Japanese-style apartment locates 4-min walk from Omori-station, just 2 stops from Shinagawa!
YOU MUST READ THESE before you BOOK my room:
1. This is share room, you may share with other guests sometime. If you do not want to share, you need to pay double price.
2. Just one Key, you need to share, and the last one in the room locks the door, put it into mailbox (with details I will send to guest, 5 days before arrival),when you come back first, get the key, open the door and put key in a white bowl on the table. Do not carry key in your bag or pocket. If you lost the key, you must pay 21,600 JPY, which is the apartment manager charges for the new key set. That is why I set the deposit as the same price. But if you return key to me, no charge from deposit, of course!
3. Refund only possible before 5 days you arrival.

  • Bin was my first host and my first experience with AirBnB. She was the most sweet and gracious hostess you could ever hope for in Japan.

The proximity to the train is perfect.
I loved only having to do one transfer to the Yamanote Line.

The neighborhood is really quiet for the most part. There was construction going on but they didn't start work until a reasonably late part in the morning.

    Response from Bin:

Thank you Nicole for staying at my apartment! I did enjoy talking with you and I liked the American style breakfast foodstuff you bought for me! Next time I will cook Osaka-style okonomiyaki again for you!

  • I rent a room for my friend at Bin's place. He was glad he stayed there: it's close to the station (only 5 minutes by foot), easy to find and Bin is very nice. Most of the time you will share the room with other people staying there, so it could be a bother for those who like to have their own space, or a plus for those wanting to meet other people! The only really"bad" point would be that it seems to be a bit noisy in the morning around 8pm (hairdryer, cooking noises when Bin goes to work).

My friend would clearly recommend staying at Bin's place!

    Response from Bin:

Thank you Ingrid! Yes my place is a share room with a reasonable price, because I would like to offer a good " bed and breakfast" place for all the travelers with low budget can discovery Tokyo and have fun! I will try to improve the "rush hour " in the morning!

  • Unfortunately Bin was not in Tokyo when i came to her flat, but she has left precise information for finding the appartment and it was easy to find. I really liked the neighbourhood, 0 tourists, it is a calm residential area. I was happy to be mixed among local people.
Seen on the map Omori, seemed far but with the JR line, the center was reached very fastly.
What i liked with Bin's flat is that it was calm, everything you need is here (if you want to cook you have plates, fry pan).
I will definitely recommend this place for people traveling in Tokyo.

  • I did stay only one night and I had not the chance to meet Bin. There was another guest during the stay but everything went perfectly. Apartment is easy to find (thanks to Bin information) and near Omori station.
Easy access to Haneda airport (which was my goal).

  • Bins apartment was my very first share-room and my first booked place on Airbnb. First i was a bit suspicious if i could handle it because of the space but Bins amazing personality and quality as a host made me get used to it very fast and the next day i felt like home.
It was a very good way to get to know new and very nice people too, the beds and atmosphere were very comfortable as well. I recommend this place for a nice experience in tokyo. ^^

  • It is the first use. For a message from me, Bin gave an answer immediately. I would like to ask by all means this time when I go to Tokyo! Thank you very much for your advice.

  • The flat: it is located 5 mins walking from JR Omori Station where you can take a direct train to Shinagawa (6 mins) for Yamanote line or 16 mins to Tokyo station. Bin provided me with a detailed map and was easy to find it. It has also free wifi. Regarding its dimensions, I have to reiterate it is a small flat and has a pretty smaller bathroom. Who is coming has to be prepared as it might share it with another guest sometimes. The positive aspect is that you may end up knowing new people from all over the world and meet them again (as I did in my following trip after leaving Japan). I have always stayed on the bed you can see on the pics and it was very comfortable
Bin: great communicator by e-mail. Answering to any queries in minutes or few hours (depending the time I was writing to her). She is a very smart & open-minded and you can have interesting chat with her on any topics. Bin was very helpful in providing informations to other guests & taking care of them
