I spent a wonderful week in Limerick at Anne' BnB - so artistically stylish, warm, comfortable , and Anne ever welcoming and helpful. Her home is in an historic area, within walking distance exploring city centre - perfectly situated for a lovely experience in safe, friendly, unhurried Limerick , and the beautiful land of western Ireland. Plus the enjoyment meeting and making new friends
I stayed for a week while attending a congress in Limerick and loved the experience of staying in Anne's house. The location is stunning, in a historic part of Limerick, the house about 200 years old with a great feeling of peace. The area is quiet, the small street friendly, and I loved the evening sun shining into my room, with a view over the river. Anne is warm, welcoming, relaxed and helpful. I was incredibly touched that she offered me a lift to the university when I had an early start on a rainy morning and was still unfamiliar with the buses. It was a great kindness to a traveller. The house feels like a home. Lovely generous towels, a good shower, and space in the fridge. Highly recommended for value and a host with all the best qualities of Irish hospitality.
We never received messages with instructions as to how to enter the home. We called the first time when we arrive and she instructed us to go across the street to a market to pick-up our keys. When we entered the town home of 4 floors , no one was inside. There was a King bed downstairs, a kitchen living room on the second floor, two double beds pushed together on the third floor, and the last floor (attic) included a number of twin beds. We called a second time to find out where we were staying. Our host said the second floor "where the King size bed is" - all in accurate. We called a third time for clarification because the King size bed was on the first floor and the two double beds on the third (second floor included the kitchen). She responded, "I get charged every time you call, your room is with the double beds together." We became bothered. Although communication was not ideal, the view and the central location of this townhome was superb.
Une véritable maison d'artiste, très soignée et propre. Nous avons été accueillis par une charmante personne dénommée Marie.
The room and bathroom wasn't clean. Our experience in Anne's house was a bad experience. Anne was helpfull with us.
