Christine thought of everything with this spacious well appointed two bedroom suite. From a well stocked kitchen to toys for the youngsters, this was our best Airbnb experience to date. The view of the beach lighthouse in the morning was picture perfect and the easy access from parking to the suite entrance made unloading and loading luggage a breeze. We now understand why this location came so highly recommended. A beautiful place to stay for a night or two. We would definitely stay again.
Chris and Kym were so welcoming and friendly, with info about shops and local cafes etc. The listing description is accurate and the accommodation is very comfortable - great beds and plenty of space for myself, my husband, and 2 children. The neighbourhood is peaceful with beautiful gardens and trees housing lots of birds, even a koala!! I can't think of anything else you could need here, Chris has thought of every little thing anyone staying might need, right down to notepad and pen, lots of cooking/food preparation equipment and fruit as well as treats in the kitchen. I love all the artworks on the walls from all over the world - so much vibrant colour that just seems to blend well and provide a home away from home that has an exotic feel. I also loved how comfortable it is, you can really relax there, as well as easily go into to town or wander through quiet local streets and trails down to the great long and mostly-uninhabited white sands of Lighthouse Beach.
Christine was such a vivacious welcoming host. We felt so very comfortable immediately.
She told us of the attractions in the area as well as great suggestions. Within our accommodation was a well compiled booklet of attractions for our perusal which was a great reference.
Our BnB was very well fitted out with choices of beds. All bedding was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Additional blankets were appreciated too. It was slightly cool when we arrived which was not a problem as Christine and Kym had turned on heating for our arrival.
The rooms were light, colourful, comfortable,
interesting, in fact so pleasant we decided to stay in and self cater. This was easy as the kitchen was so well fitted.
We were treated to some of Christine's fruit cake - a real treat, as was the bottle of Cabernet Merlot. Really spoilt. Fresh fruit and bread for toast was topped up as required. If we were in need of anything it would have been provided on request.
It was lovely to chat with Christine but she respected our privacy, did not hover and got on with her busy, interesting life.
The bathroom was immaculate, well stocked with toiletries and lovely large thick towels.
The setting, garden and views are beautiful, with bushland walks, beaches, lighthouse a 10min walk.
Our first experience of Airbnb at 6 Daintree Lane Port Macquarie with Christine and Kym as our hosts was superb. Thank you for such a delightful few days.
Christine is very friendly, easy going and is a great communicator. The accommodation is perfect. Very quiet and comfortable. A great spot. Would highly recommend.
Great place. Very comfortable and quiet. Everything you need, and a short trip to town.
The house was much nicer than on the photo's, so when we arrived it was really a surprise. Chris and Kym made us feel really welcome without being 'to much'. Everything was taken care of, even the things we haven't thought about. There was fresh juice, milk, coffee, bread etc for the first morning. We recommend the coastal walk, we even got a lift from Christine, and some great tips for coffee or diner. The town, the house and the people gave us such a great feeling, we didn't want to leave. We will definitely coming back, as soon as possible!

About the Host, Christine
I am a newly retired teacher and so is my husband Kym. We have two wonderful children who live elsewhere in Australia. We live in the best part of Australia..we think..., the mid north coast of NSW, right near the beach....in fact just a few minutes walk away from 2 gorgeous beaches. We are adventurous and keen on keeping fit. We enjoy volunteering and spending time with family and friends. We love to travel, explore the world and other cultures. We enjoy great coffee, good food and wine. We also love reading, music, movies and the arts.
And of course we love meeting new people!
