This modern 2 bed 3 bath villa with own pool is blessed with breath-taking sea views of the jungle and sea beyond yet only 5-10 mins drive to town (Chaweng, the main town). Most people say the view is more "wow" than photos show.

Sits amongst 7 houses, up a 2km winding private jungle road hill, 5 mins drive (15 min walk) to Chaweng Beach, the most popular beach. Transport recommended.

The space
On Arrival
Full time on site staff Toni and Sue will greet you and do check in.
Its best we organise our taxi to pick you up (Sak) from the airport (500b) or port (6-800b). We also have bikes to rent (250-350b Yamaha Aerox / N-Max) and a car ( Mazda CX3 -1000b) per day.

Views
This modern 2 bed 3 bathroom villa with private pool is blessed with breath-taking sea views of the jungle and sea beyond. It's about 100m above sea level so you get good views without being too hard to access. The road is a bit steep but not bad and easily climbed by deliveries/ taxis / motorbikes etc.

Location
Completed in May 2013, it sits in a cul de sac of 10 houses, 1.6km up a winding private jungle road, just 5 mins drive from the centre of Chaweng (the main town with all amenities) and 2 mins drive (15 min walk) to Chaweng Beach, the longest and most popular beach.

The villa is 100% private with a walled garden and a small rear garden and terrace / pool at front. There is a beautiful apartment downstairs but separate access.

Cleaning
We are pleased to announce we now have Toni and Sue (full time house managers/staff) who will clean villa almost daily and take care of you, check you in and out, rent bikes/ car , Sue can cook (extra) and Toni can give lifts on scooter etc. for a tip.

Guests have access to their own 2 bedroom house, private pool, off street parking and walled gardens around

Other things to note
Waste/ Trash
Recycling ( bottles/ metals) should be separated from other waste and left outside. General waste put in black bags. We will take it for you, it is left at designated trash spots on the main road daily 6pm+.

Scooters: If you damage the scooter you must pay for its repair based on replacement part costs from garage (nb. this is a lot less than you would think!). Riders who rent scooters must be capable riders and have minimum a car driving licence. If you are not confident speak to me first as you might need a lesson. Wear helmets. Most people dont but it is law for the drivers and passengers. Hospital fees are expensive here so go easy. If you are an awful or inexperienced driver...please take taxis. Samui's hills, sand and dogs lying in the road makes Samui not the best place to learn for the 1st time.

Electric - 6b/unit (average 150b pd) we charge electric using a meter. It encourages "green conservation" and discourages e.g. people leaving the a/c on when they go out. We take a meter reading before and after your stay. Note we dont make a profit electric...government charge approx 6.5b/unit so we subsidise you 0.5b/unit.

Water is generally free ( collected from rain.) But if wasted, it costs you 400b per truck (3000litres). Please conserve water. We have large tanks that collect rain water so most of the year water will be free.

We have washing machine. In order to conserve water its sometimes better to take it to a local laundry but consult staff before using these. A small fee may be requested for laundry of clothes. Note: I have recently discovered Otteri - approx 200b clothes washed dried folded incl. detergent. in 1 hour!

Samui is subject to occasional power cuts, usually due to maintenance of the supply (avg 2hour cut off approx 1 time per mth. )

Internet is fast, up to 500mbps now with AIS fibre

Neighborhood highlights

Generally perfect in the jungle, close to town and beach too. Its elevated in the hills so there are great views. My favourite local restaurant is Phensiri, Jungle Club and further, Cocotans. Jungle Club next door is a must (its the best place here), Sound and Hush are the best clubs and Cocoon in the hills will have you intrigued. The best local restaurant is Phensiri but you can eat great thai food almost anywhere because food is the Thai's passion. Cocotans (cushions on beach) and Link (Fisherman) are my favourite chill places. Best beach clubs are Chi in Bangrak and Seen (Chaweng). For those that like it hot Melati has a intriguing (naked) beach next to it in Cheong Mon.
Best beaches, Silver Beach, Coral Cove, Choeng Mon and Chaweng.
