The Space

A beach vacation condo with ocean view for up to 6 people, from $50/night. Distance to beach: 150 feet (less than 50 meters).

This beach condo (unit 304) is located in the Islander, Destin, Florida, along the Emerald Coast with restaurants, championship golf, shopping centers, charter boat fishing, and amusement parks.

This unit has 2 bed rooms and 2 baths. accommodates up to 6 people with a king in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit has carpet throughout. Beach is just steps away from the building. You will have beautiful views of Gulf of Mexico from your master bedroom, living area, kitchen and private balcony.

There are always somethings fun to see as you watch the ocean and beach area. Through a private Gate you walk to our beach region. Two free beach chairs with one large umbrella are reserved for you. With your VIP card there will be large saving in restaurants, championship golf, shopping centers, charter boat fishing, amusement parks etc.

Nearest Airport: Fort Walton Beach (VPS, 15 miles)

Nearest highway: Emerald Coast Highway 98 (1 mile)

Similar to many people, we fell in love with this place when we visited Destin FL for the first time. Since then we noted this place became more and more attractive.

***THE RENT PRICE***
THE RENT PRICE OF THE UNIT IS NEGOTIABLE and varied with seasons and time of a stay. The day rate is shown on the calendar if a stay is for 3 days. Minimum stay required is 3 nights.

The base price is $90 per night for a stay for 3 nights during the period from Jan. 1 to Feb. 28.

From Oct. 27 of 2015 to Feb. 29 of 2016, weekly rate is $490 ($70 per night), monthly rate is $1500 ($50 per night). From March 1 to March 17 of 2016, weekly rate is $665 ($95 per night). From March 18 to April 5 of 2016, weekly rate is $(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) per night). From April 6 to April 30 of 2016, weekly rate is $945 ($135 per night). From May 1 to May 25 of 2016, weekly rate is $840 ($120 per night). From May 26 to June 17 of 2016, weekly rate is $(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) per night). From June 18 to July 22 of 2016, weekly rate is $(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) per night). From July 23 to Aug. 5, weekly rate is $(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) per night). From Aug. 6 to Aug. 19 of 2016, the weekly rate is $(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) per night). From Aug. 20 to Sep 30 of 2016, the weekly rate is $714 ($102 per night). All the prices INCLUDE tax (11%) and fees for once deep cleaning ($105) and damage insurance ($9 per day), BUT DOES NOT include a booking service fee charged by AirBNB. This fee can be varied in different websites. EXCLUDING the booking service fee the price provided is the total cost for rent. Since the rental prices are subjects to change without notice, negotiations and guests' opinions are particularly welcome.

House Rules

The person making the reservation must be 25 years or older and must occupy the unit during the entire length of the reservation. The Islander is a family friendly condominium and we do not rent to guests under the age of 25 without a parent or guardian (ID must be supplied at check-in). Any reservation made under false pretenses will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment and will not be allowed to check in.

Payment: An advance full payment of the rent is required on a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) at the time the reservation is made.The Islander accepts cashiers checks, money orders and cash. When you arrive, a credit card will need to be manually swiped by the staff for incidentals and any damage sustained to the unit during your stay.

Before paying, please contact the owner through AirBNB e-mail system. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.

Check in: The front desk is open 24-hours for your convenience. Check in time is after 3 pm. Due to our high standards of cleanliness, not all units may be ready for check in promptly at 3 pm. We ask for your patience and recommend you have alternate plans in the event your unit is not ready at 3 pm. You are welcome to use the pools or go to the beach while you wait.

Check out: Check out time is 10 am. A late check out fee up to $100 may be charged to the credit card on file if you have not vacated the unit in a timely manner. After 2:00 p.m., an additional days rent will be charged to your reservation. Upon your departure, we ask that you run your dishwasher and take out any garbage. The unit keys need to be returned to the front desk when you depart. A $75 plus tax fee will be assessed for any keys not returned. Safe keys are $150 plus tax.

Rates: Rates are subject to change without notice. All reservations are subject to Florida's 11% tax and fees for once deep cleaning ($105.00) and damage insurance ($9.00 perday, if a rent is less than 15 days).

Cancellation: Cancellations outside of 30 days of the arrival date will receive a refund of the advance payment, less the $35 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will not be refunded the advance payment. Long term, seasonal reservations must cancel by September 1 st.

Housekeeping/Linen: Your unit will be cleaned before you check in. The initial supply of toilet paper (2 rolls/bathroom), bar soap (2/bath), paper towels (1 roll), dishwashing detergent (2 packs) and garbage bags (1/can) are provided. There will be 4 beach towels provided in each unit. The Islander can provide additional maid service at the guest's request for a nominal cleaning fee. The Islander does provide a complimentary towel exchange, please check with the front desk for the dates. On other days, an exchange for clean linen can be arranged at the front desk for a nominal fee.

Parking: Each unit is allowed 2 parking spaces. Each vehicle will need to visibly display their parking pass in the front windshield. Vehicles without valid passes are subject to towing. Boats, jet skis, trailers, etc. must be parked by the tennis courts on the north side of the lot. Should parking become limited, guest vehicles will take priority over recreational vehicles (boats, RVs, etc.)

Pets: Pets are not allowed at The Islander. Failure to comply will result in a $150 fine per day of the infraction.

Laundry: The Islander has a coin-operated laundry room located on the 2nd floor available to all of our (website hidden)-B-Que Pits: Bar-B-Que pits are provided for your enjoyment, no personal Bar-B-Ques are allowed.

Non-smoking: All units at The Islander are non-smoking and violating this policy will result in a $500 charge.
