  • Jerry and Tyler were both such sweethearts! I only met Tyler. But talked to jerry over the phone and through text and both of them were very easy to communicate with and were very courteous! My friend and I definitely enjoyed our trip.

  • Great location and everything you need for your NY visit!

  • We came for a 10 day vacation in New York, and getting this apartment was a major contribution for a great time in the city.
Jerry and Tyler were so generous with every aspect, starting with flexible arrival and departure schedules, clean and warm apartment, fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and a comfortable bed.
The location is indeed fantastic. We have realized that for a lot of attractions like the Soho or Greenwich Village areas, we did not even need to use the Subway.
The place was everything a regular hotel room can not provide, a feeling of a second home and interesting design, including a remarkable aquarium.

  • Jerry was a most gracious host and prompt with getting us keys. We were able to put our stuff down while we explored the city and he cleaned the place. The fish tank was beautiful and the apartment in general was pleasant and relaxing. I highly recommend this place as it is in a prime location and Jerry was super cool and helpful.

  • Jerry, the host, was very accommodating right from first contact letting me check in anytime that was convenient. The apartment was very clean and organized containing everything you would expect in a home. Jerry explained his place and beautiful aquarium to me as well as surrounding neighbourhood. I chose East Village as I was meeting a friend there. The neighbourhood was safe with lots of other apartments and restaurants in the surrounding areas, and short walks to public transit, and longer walks if you wanted to go to the more tourist areas. This was my first airbnb experience which worked out great for me mostly for location. I was not expecting a hotel experience so you go in with expectations of living in a home in a busy city and the ambience that goes with it. I will definitely do this again. Thanks Jerry!

  • Our stay in Jerry's apt was just perfect! The location is great, you have all the shops, bars and restaurants really close. The subway is less than 5 mn walk. The apt is very nice and clean, not big but spacious enough for 2 people, one sleeping in the bed and the other one on the couch, both very comfortable. Jerry is a great host, very easy and eager to give you all the tips you need for a good stay in NYC. We would definitely rent it again!

  • Jerry was a great host - the place was as described (small, thoughtfully designed, great location.
WE had a wonderful time exploring the neighborhood. Jerry even took me on a short walking tour to point out anything we may need (pharmacy, organic foods, pizza, wine, bus stops, etc.)
Watching the fish was a great way to unwind after taking in the city.

  • Jerry's apartment is a fantastic place in one of the most convenient parts of the city. His level of service was fantastic, and his fish were pretty cool.

  • This apartment is GREAT. Super clean, nicely designed, and comfortable. It's a great place to hang out (living room + nice kitchen) and also a great base from which to run around town — the Lower East Side location was perfect for me and my boyfriend. Jerry is also a great host, super chill and helpful. I will most definitely stay here any time I come to NY. Highly recommended!

  • We stayed for 10 days in Jerry's place and only good memories ^
:). Both Jerry and Tyler are so nice, and were very accommodating for all details (check-in/out ...) and their regular visits for the fishes were always enjoyable :). The place is very pleasant, the fishtank is amazing, especially to find sleep when suffering from jetlag :), having a bathtub is also a real plus. Everything was clean, and the location is ideal !! Lots of bars between 4th and 14th street, subway 5 minutes by walk ...
In a few words, Jerry is the host you can only hope when looking for a nice place to stay and enjoy NY :) The next trip to NY will be at Jerry's :)

At heart, Im a scientist, always observing life, nature, people, and everything around me with an endless sense of child-like fascination and curiosity. Since I stopped working in traditional research labs in academia and biotech drug development, I've worked as a sales rep, a marketer, and a commercial analytics director at the company that started biotech, Genentech, where we commercialized many amazing first-in-class drugs. Now I'm serving my community by helping young people in tough situations get access to healthcare in NYC (email hidden) that I founded. When I'm not working, if I'm indoors, I'm probably tending to my reef aquarium, which has over 100 species of fish, coral, anenomies, crustaceans, and bivalves, and other invertebrates. If I'm outside, and it's not winter, then there's a good chance I'm out on the streets of manhattan going too fast on the single speed fixed gear bicycle that I built myself, part-by-part.
