Deborah was a really nice host. Our room was clean and very comfortable and the house was beautiful. We would definately stay there again.
Deborah made our first airbnb experience a great one ! She was very kind and helpful and even did research for us when we couldn't figure out a place for dinner. She left us bagels fruit water coffee and even let us use her washer for free. She let us use the pool as well ! She made us feel as tho her home was ours . Her home is so beautiful and very clean ! I am so happy we chose to stay with her ! Definitely coming back again !
what a fantastic introduction to airbnb! this was my first time using the service, and it set the bar very high. deborah was welcoming, generous, helpful, and fun; everything was fresh and clean; and the neighborhood was perfectly peaceful. I would definitely go back!
This was a beautiful house set in a semi rural area with upscale houses on huge lots. The neighborhood seemed safe and peaceful. As a matter of fact, I think we may have seen 4 people (outside of Deb and Rod) in the area the entire 4+ days we stayed.
We found the location (approximately a mile from the I-75) very handy for visiting areas to the north and south ends of Sarasota.
Deb and Rod made took us in as if we were part of their family. We were made to feel comfortable using the kitchen, living room, and swimming pool, and had our own beautifully tiled bathroom ... where we were provided with plenty of towels, wash cloths, soaps, and shampoos.
Although we never needed to do laundry we were given permission to use the washer and dryer. In the wash room, which was adjacent to ours, we were also provided coffee, our own coffee maker, and hot tea.
Our room, which we could enter directly from the driveway, was immaculately clean when we arrived. Deb had the mini-fridge fully stocked with all kinds of drinks, yogurts, bagels, homemade cookies, chocolates, and more. The queen size bed was very clean and comfy with plenty of pillows. The ceiling fan right above the bed kept us comfortably cool.
The driveway provided plenty of parking and I was allowed to store my rented bike in the garage. Deb and Rod offered to let us ride their bikes but we were so busy we never got around to it.
Deb provided tourism brochures and shared a lot of local information while we were conversing.
The only negative thing I can think of was the size of the room for the amount of luggage we brought. We were slightly cramped as we had quite a bit of luggage since we were going to stay in Florida 10 days and I needed an extra suitcase for my mountain biking gear.
If you want to stay in a high quality house with top notch people this is the place for you. You will instantly become one of the family.
About the Host, Deborah
Originally from Ohio, moved down to Florida in 1979. I am a mother of 3 children. I enjoy swimming in the pool and my house is always spotless. My daughter recently took me to Singapore and Hawaii. If I could move to any place other than Florida it would be Hawaii.
