Chis is a very friendly and welcoming host. As soon as I arrived I was given a tour and everything was just as described in the listing. Offers a varied breakfast with lots of options. He knows the area very well, offering lots of options on local activities. I was attending a concert at the Ommegang Brewery and Chris helped arrange transportation. It was a great first-time airbnb experience. I'd recommend staying at the Kountry Livivng Bed and Breakfast to anyone visiting the area and would definitely stay there again!
My Boyfriend Tom and I thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Chris' B&B. We were visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown and sent out a request to book that evening which Jerry responded to right away. This was followed up with a phone call to give us directions.
We were greeted by Dan when we arrived and he showed us our room, the multiple bathrooms and helped us get settled in the well furnished and comfortable living room. We were in the middle of watching an exciting baseball game (Yankees and Cleveland in extra innings), when Chris came in from work and Joined us. We watched the game and talked about baseball and the bnb. We had a great time.
The bedroom was nicely decorated and we thought the bed was extremely comfortable. The host provided Soap, shampoo and other ammenities. We were given the option of coffee, juice and simple fare or a freshly cooked breakfast. The combination of the Chris, Dan and Jerry's hosptitality combined with the comfortable bedroom and living areas created a warm and relaxed atmosphere . It was like staying with a relative that you like. We would definitely stay here again.
We felt most welcome and got good directions to the place. We never saw Chris but we're well hosted by one of his partners who cooked a delicious breakfast. Sharing bathrooms meant a few times we had to wait, even tho there are two, but all in all we were very comfortable and pleased with the accommodations, which were charming. Lots of baseball memorabilia for serious baseball fans who come to see the Hall of Fame, but we were there for Glimmergloss, which was amazing.
We had a wonderful time staying at Chris's home for a full week while our nephew played baseball at Cooperstown.Veryclean, lots of extra would love to come back in the fall
Great place - perfect location for families with children playing at Cooperstown All-Star Village. Jerry was a great host - house was very clean, breakfast was great, the bedroom and bathroom were really nice as well. Definitely as advertised - would highly recommend staying here.
Had a very good experience - keep up the good work!
We had a lovely stay with Chris in the charming town of Oneonta - Chris was as helpful as could be - breakfast was scrumptious, his baseball knowledge was voluminous (I can excuse him being a Yankees fan, spoken by a Giants fan)... the tips Chris provided in terms of local eats, activities, great hikes were most excellent.
