Or toast to that well deserved vacation with a special bottle of Champagne from Korbel Winery - which is just a 10 minute drive.

Johnnys place was very clean and modern. Great location if you're trying to get to know the area. Had great amenities. Wifi, tv, DVD, and all cooking utensils are available just in case you're cooking. However, be aware the walls are very thin and you could hear conversations, tv, and alarms from the people living in the unit in front of the cabin/studio.

I had a prolonged stay at Johnny's place and it exceeded my expectations. It was comfortable, clean, functional and an exceptional value. I didn't want for anything and was able to enjoy my time in a fantastically beautiful setting in a space that impeccably served my needs. I would definitely stay again and recommend this spot to others.

Johnny's "Hideaway" was exceptional and the perfect midweek getaway. I was immediately impressed with the artful aesthetics and great use of space. This is a spacious mixed-use studio with nice art, quality and comfortable furniture (including a nice leather recliner), with every detail well considered for design and great function. Also, the location is tranquilly located in the redwoods, but with easy and close access to the Russian River, Guerneville & Armstrong Woods. It was the perfect retreat and exceeded expectations :)

I am originally from North Carolina (yes, i still have my 'southern' accent even after 27 years living in San Francisco.

I am fine art and commercial photographer (johnnyda(URL HIDDEN)
and I have founded and run several 3 galleries in San Francisco ((URL HIDDEN) and produced many art events to raise money for non-profits. I am also an artist coach and still maintain my connections to sell art by local artists.

I love traveling when time and finances permit. I've been to Egypt, Turkey, London, Paris, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Hawaii of course if you live on the west coast ! I want to go to Asia or Peru next.....

I must have my coffee first thing in the morning and have been known to get coffee across the (URL HIDDEN) that I can meet a friend for coffee later. I will eat pretty much anything unless it is really hot and spicy. I love red wine, wine tastings.....and who doesnt like margaritas. However, martini's at "The Top of the Mark" is what you drink there.
