Interaction with Guests
I really appreciate guests letting me know what their expectations are in terms of level of interaction. I have a regular job as well as 4 listings and I always make an effort to be as available as I can. However, I am not a mind reader and cannot guess which guests are more self sufficient and which are not. Please don't be afraid to speak up and let me know your needs :)

Other Things to Note
Please note that close proximity to the bus stops is great but it comes with noisy disadvantages. I just moved to this apartment which is just a few feet away from the Wilshire bus stops so if you are a very very light sleeper, like me :( you'll probably need earplugs.
No shoes inside please. If you must wear shoes, slippers or flat sandals are o.k.
No loud noise after 10 p.m. Please keep in mind this is a shared space so if you are having a fight on the phone with your significant other rest assure I will hear it :(
Do not leave lights on in the room when you're out. It waste electricity and the bill skyrockets.
Guests are responsible for cleaning after themselves, i.e. dishes and pans used in the kitchen, for long term stays (bedding, comforter and towels if I provide them)
Lastly, if you break something please let me know asap. You have the option of replacing it yourself or paying a fee directly to me.
No guests overnight or otherwise please.
No eating huge messy meals inside room. I'm sure you as a guest would prefer a roach and ant free accommodation and I also like my home roach and ant free so please follow this rule. Please throw away your trash in the kitchen.
Please do not go through my things. This is my home and expect all my guests to be as respectful as I am. I do not go through your things so please don't go through mine.
I enjoyed staying at Caroline's place. She is very prepared and organized to accommodate her guests; from maps, to city pamphlets, to towels and soap, and even more!
I will definitely inquire to stay there in my future Santa Monica vacations and I recommend it to anyone!
Caroline was a very kind, friendly, and considerate host. I stayed for a night and the room was clean and well-maintained. Thank you Caroline!
Reservation was made late. Once made, Caroline contacted me to arrange for the keys and to advise me of the fact the room was located on a major street and gave me the opportunity to cancel if that would be a problem; and, Caroline was able to meet with me late in the evening.
When I arrived, she showed me the room, made sure it met with my satisfaction, and addressed a few minor things I requested -- mainly a brighter light as I had work to do.
Great stay! Caroline was very responsive and providing little touches to make you feel welcomed
