Other Things to Note
We live next door to the cottage. We have 3 cats that roam around, so if you have dogs, they will need to be tied up outside.
Enjoy the lake. Take precautions to be safe - don't use gasoline to light a grill! There are neighbors, so be respectful of those around you. Many live all year long on the lake. We are next door, so we are available in any situation.
My friends and I had a lovely weekend at Kathy's rustic cottage. We spent our days relaxing by the lake and cooking meals in the kitchen of the cottage. Great place for a quiet getaway on a beautiful lake. The cottage was rustic and very charming. Would love to come back in the summer!
The cottage was extremely charming and cute. Had beautiful windows and you could see the lake and the sunrise. We had a great quiet time! Our dog loved the windows, the little yard area and we really enjoyed ourselves!
My husband, friends & I loved staying at the cottage. We felt like we were miles up in northern Michigan. We drove to south bend to do some shopping and it was a quick easy drive. We had a very memorable New Year's Eve there, thanks Kathy!
What a wonderful weekend away. Kathy was such a fabulous host. She greeted me as I arrived and lead me into a most cozy and quaint cottage. I loved it the moment I walked in. I just adore the artist touch. It was quiet and serene. The view of the lake was splendid especially from the upstairs bed. It made for a remarkable sunrise. Yoga, health food stores and hiking were not too far away. It was the perfect place to relax, read and rejuvenate. Thank you so so very much Kathy.
My husband and I and our dog had a wonderful, wonderful Christmas week staying at Kathy's cottage. It was charming beyond measure. Kathy had even decorated for Christmas. We loved the twinkling lights above the fireplace, waking up with a view of the lake, and staying in the comfort of a place well-loved. We will readily stay here again. Kathy was easy to communicate with, prompt to answer any questions, and quick to help if we needed it. The pictures do not lie. You delightfully get what you see.
A quirky cottage ripe with character and charm. The accommodations met all our needs for a quiet and cozy place to spend a weekend away. Kathy and Patty provided us with any help we required. Thank you for having us!
I enjoyed my stay at Kathy's cabin. Was looking for a quiet retreat for a few cold winter nights and it served perfectly. Kathy was great and very kind and responsive. Just beware for you tall folks of the short ceilings and know there's only wifi upstairs in the bedroom.
Kathy Reddy White is from South Bend, Indiana. She now lives on Eagle Lake next to the rental property. Kathy has a BFA from Saint Mary's College and an MFA from the University of Notre Dame. She is a gallery owner and practicing artist.
