About this listing

The cottage is small and charming with an old world feel. It looks right on to the lake with 40 feet of frontage. There's a canoe available to use. There's a fire pit and a Weber grill, all the things you need for lake life!

The cottage is turn of the century, so it has a worn feel. It also has a way of producing cobwebs at great speed. I clean under and over, but seem to miss a few here and there. I will come over and take care of whatever you find!

We visited family in the area while staying at Kathy's place, and the cottage is exactly as described... rustic, quirky, and cozy. The views from the cottage are fantastic. I would recommend the cottage to anyone interested in a relaxing and rustic alternative to a hotel or for a family vacation. We were able to enjoy all the benefits of being right on a small lake, and Kathy was very responsive when we needed a few questions answered.

Kathy's place was incredible! If you are looking for a homey, rustic, comfortable place for a vacation or even one nigh, look no further! We only stayed one night as we were passing through on a road trip. I wish we could have stayed longer to soak up the relaxing cottage atmosphere. Kathy was communicative and friendly. We loved the rustic feel and beautiful master bedroom. Our favorite part was waking up to that incredible view and drinking our coffee's on the dock. We traveled with our 2 daughters (2 year old, and 11 month old) and they had so much fun. The house was a little tricky with an adventurous crawling baby, but we managed just fine. Getting to take the canoe out on the lake was a huge added bonus!

Thank you for a lovely stay in your lakeside cabin! We loved hanging out on the dock and I appreciated the full kitchen! We played Jumanji (my daughter won) and roasted marshmallows. The view from the bedroom was fantastic! We also loved the neighbor's guitar playing! The ceilings are a bit low in places and the shower was my size (I'm 5'2") and a bit cramped for my 6'2" husband but he managed just fine. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Kathy's place was just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. We loved taking the canoe out on the lake and the lake lifestyle. Easily accessible, but with a remote feel, I would be glad to come stay here again.

Kathy's place was great! We loved the views, the amenities, and the great service. Kathy is a great host.

Kathy's cottage was amazing. It is quaint, quiet and such a refreshing place to relax. In addition to her warm hospitality, Kathy provided bagels, cream cheese and orange juice for our last minute stay.
