Located in the Santa Cruz mountains, our home is surrounded by redwood trees and manicured gardens. Shinobeau, a vegan chef of healing cuisine will prepare a healthy Japanese breakfast using local organic vegetables and selected natural condiments. Additional meals provided for $25 (lunch or dinner including salad & desert for one person). We speak English and Japanese. And only a 10 min. drive to 1440 Multiversity.

The space
Japanese themed house in the Santa Cruz mountains just minutes from the beach and Silicon Valley. Guests stay in large, private in-law suite with a loft, fireplace and a private bathroom with a heated Japanese "washlet" (toilet). Leather couches, large windows and plenty of room to spread out and relax...or work. Large deck with outdoor furniture for lounging under the stars. Clean mountain air and redwood trees surround you in this quiet enclave. Lots of singing birds and butterflies during the day. Dress warm since it gets chilly in the mountains! Please note that there are stairs to reach the main house. Loft bedroom is upstairs as well.

Where you’ll be

Scotts Valley, California, United States

The Glenwood area is located in Santa Cruz County and is registered as California Historical Landmark #449. Majestic redwood trees and mountain streams surround this former pioneer town. Come and breathe the clean mountain air to rejuvenate. You may see deer, wild turkeys, foxes, raccoons and other wild animals so please use caution...especially when driving on the winding mountain roads. Typically, you can hear owls during the night and see many different bird species during the day. Lots of bicyclists so please be cautious when driving.

Head south to beautiful Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel or head north to the Silicon Valley, San Jose and San Francisco. We are very conveniently located.
