We had a great time at Pierre's Garden Chalet near Quepos. Pierre gave us a warm welcome, inviting us for drinks and showing us the nearby towns of Quepos and Manuel Antonio with some very helpful recommendations. He's a really great host!
The Chalet is located beautifully, sitting on the huge veranda feels like being in the middle of the jungle. It's very spacious and clean, the kitchen is fully equipped. What we liked most is waking up with a nice view into the canopies of the surrounding palm trees, with some luck one can see some monkeys. We felt very comfortable and can totally recommend to stay at Pierre's! Hope to come back one day.
Un gros merci à Pierre pour son accueil. Nous avons été enchantés de notre court séjour. Tout était parfait!
Our stay was great. Pierre was very accommodating and assisted us in booking several tours during our visit. The chalet was as described and we appreciated the equipped kitchen. Public transportation was affordable and available. We would definitely recommend this place to others.
The reservation was canceled 45 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My husband and I had such a wonderful experience staying in Pierre's chalet. Pierre was an exceptional host, he was very prompt in responding to my emails, answering all my questions and also giving great advice for our traveling needs. He had no problem meeting us in town and taking us to the chalet. The beauty in which we were surrounded at the chalet was almost indescribable. The property has a sanctuary like feeling, full of lush foliage and wildlife.
The amenities in the chalet are perfect for all your needs. We found everything clean and ready for us upon arrival. It was a pleasure to stay in the chalet.
Merci Beaucoup Pierre!
We had a lovely experience at Pierre's. He is a very friendly host, was very accommodating and even joined us for coffee at a beautiful cafe in Manuel Antonio where we saw Tucans. His lodge is a jewel in the jungle. The sounds and view were amazing. As someone who is scared of dogs, I found his Boxer was very friendly and welcoming. I want to come back and spend more time here. It is simply beautiful.
It was great to meet Pierre and stay at his Chalet. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and helped us out with information about public transportation to and from Quepos--both when we were coming (from the middle of the country) and also to and from Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio. We happened very much to like its more removed setting, as Quepos (in my opinion) isn't the nicest, most scenic town, whereas the views from the Chalet were awesome (mountains and forested surroundings) and the air was clean. All in all worth it for sure, and meeting Pierre was a pleasure for us.

I love Costa Rica and have spent thirty-two years living here in peace and harmony with nature. I share my living space with two old cats and three gentle boxers (dogs). I live a healthy lifestyle and and enjoy my interactions with tenants from all over the world. I have found my paradise and love sharing it with the other residents of the jungle.
