This was a great base for Manhattan exploration and was just as advertised. Lauren responded quickly to our requests and left clear instructions - overall a very nice stay.
Our stay at Lauren's apartment was what we expected it would be. The apartment has obvious downsides being a basement apartment. It is pretty cold, there is a lot of noise that comes in from the street, no cable television, and there is no bathroom sink. Having said that, these things were expected based on the description. The apartment is described perfectly by Lauren and there were no issues that had no been presented ahead of time. Lauren was a very accommodating host, allowing us to stay in the apartment for one night on New Year's Eve. She was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The neighborhood was lovely. Everything was easily accessible. The apartment is the right size for one or two people. Chances are, if you're staying in New York, it isn't to spend time in an apartment. Get out and enjoy the neighborhood. We did and we loved it.
Lovely apartment. Lauren was very quick to respond. All instructions to use the TV, fireplace and internet were included in a laminated booklet. This neighborhood is filled with adorable residential brownstones, it's a little hard to believe that a few blocks up you are overlooking the Hudson onto the city skyline. If you're planning to stay in the Winter, absolutely buy a Duraflame log and fire up the fireplace. Very clean, neat apartment. Thanks Lauren!
Lauren's place has NO SINK in the bathroom but other than that, it is as it's shown in the pictures. It is a basement, it's dark in winter and might be difficult to access if it snows or rains (stairs might be slippery). The space is good for a couple or two friends that won't spend too long at home. The internet works very well and is painless to log in. Not sure it is good value for money, $200 per night it's a high price compared to other properties in the area.
A favor: ubicacion, internet, cama comoda.
We had a great time at Lauren's flat. The instructions to get in were clear and precise. Wifi connection flawless. The flat was exactly as described and very clean. The location is perfect for exploring Brooklyn and Manhattan. Very quiet neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. Lauren kept in touch to check if everything was OK. We can definitely recommend her place and would love to come back. Thank you Lauren.
Lauren was a great host, quick to respond to all messages. The apartment is in a great location, steps to subway stops and charming restaurants. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the listing, and was plenty of space for two people. I would definitely stay again.
