Wonderfully unique, our rustic yet luxurious retreat provides uncompromised privacy in a romantic setting. Surrounded by the tranquility of Vashon Island, relax and unwind with our high-end amenities. Enjoy our fully furnished 20' bell tent featuring a new king bed and hand-selected antique décor. The private Norwegian-inspired, cedar bathhouse is delightful and overlooks a private grove. You will be transported into the serenity of our property and the Island's charm, only an hour from Seattle.
The space
The jewelbox bathhouse is full of rustic, luxurious surprises. It has a shower for two with two shower heads, each with individual temperature controls. The restored, antique clawfoot tub is extra long and has on demand hot water complimented by an array of luxurious spa supplies and bath salts. This is forest bathing! Many realistic electric candles are controlled by handy remote clickers. Door handles and hooks are fashioned from madrona branches.

Arrive via a gravel driveway to a private parking area. Walk about 100' over a level, wide path to the glamping tent entrance. Soak in the relaxation of the forest in approximately 1500 square feet of irrigated lawns with territorial forested views and string lights draped overhead.

Adjacent Burton Peninsula provides an easy seaside mile walking loop while circling a forested park. On the Burton Loop, Jensen Park has paddleboard & kayak rentals through Vashon Adventures, picnic tables next to the beach, and a boat ramp.
Foxglove Glamping is located a half a mile from Wax Orchard Park, over 100 acres of enchanting woods with fern and moss understory, ponds with lily pads and a vast meadow embellished with large specimen trees. Wax Orchard Park has 6+ miles of trails. Foxglove Glamping is also a couple miles to Lisabuela Park, one of the best beaches on Vashon with over a thousand feet of west-facing shoreline to explore, gorgeous sunsets over the Olympic Mountains, and picnic tables by the beach.
