  • Can't beat the price and location, very near to all. Was also very helpful to have local knowledge from the owner. Clean beaches with clear warm water to swim. Was there during a major Mexican holiday so my earplugs helped sleep from the partying all night.

  • Ana was a gracious host and very knowledgeable of Cabo! She really helped us along to find restaurants, attractions, out of town places and whatever we asked for. Her place is very clean, hospital and very welcoming. We were really fortunate to have stayed with her for our first trip to Cabo San Lucas! I recommend her hospitality and her room to anyone!!!

  • My trip to Cabo was very last minute - but Ana made sure all of my questions were answered even with it being so last minute. Ana was very sweet and accommodating. Her place was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was incredible! She had a map that she gave us to show us where to go and gave great recommendations on what to do with our limited time there. Safe area, great trip, incredible host! Will definitely stay again if we make it back to Cabo in the future.

  • Here is my experience.
When a arrived everything was fine and clean, the host gave me the info to arrive by car, I was suppose to rent a car, finally I don't.
    Everything was clean and neat.
One day a noise woke me, I was to the door and I found the host inside the house with a girl teaching her, the noise was very loud. I didn't understood what was happening, the host asked me to open the door and to say to go away to a guy who was there very upset, I didn't knew why. At the moment I wouldn't to be in a problem but after a couple of petitions from the host I said to go away to this guy. It was a situation very upset to me and I was angry about the fact to being a problem that was not mine.. In that case any person must to call the police but I was there, without know if that person was dangerous. I said a couple of times to go away and finally he left. After that I told to the host not to it me in a position like that, was not my problem, was the first time in my life Ina situation like that in a new place.
I was worry to find this guy in the building the next days or something like that.
Then, I asked to the host if could be possible to stay more days and she said yes and also that she will gave me a discount, so ok.
I was supposed to receive a petition from this web site asking me to pay more days that the preview, but in the two next days I hadn't nothing., so I said, it will be arrive to my email possibly the days that I was suppose to leave.
That day at 11am, the host asked me to leave because I didn't pay, I said what?, I said I didn't receive nothing until now, it was suppose to arrive by email. She said you need to leave!, I said I don't have any place to go. In conclusion, I was looking for a place which fortunately I found, but if not I can't imagine what I have done. So at 1pm I was out without any preview notification from the host that last night, I asked her and she told that she was out and that she was not a babysitter. I tried to explain that i hadn't nothing to accept in my email from airbnb, but she was just in her position. So I was there looking for a place a Saturday at noon in that place new to me without more days at this room and of course without any discount.
Just for these situations Ana was nice the rest of the time.
    Judge for yourself.

    Response from Ana:

About this complain for the noise, that ‘upset’ Mariano and he thought it was ‘dangerous’ and I should ‘call the police’; it was 1pm, the doorbell was out of batteries, and I had a sign on the door for people to please knock hard so we could hear inside. I was with a student, we were finishing class, and her boyfriend came to pick her up, and knocked twice. Mariano got out of his room, saying the knocking was too loud and that I should do something. I explained him briefly and said no worries that the lady next to me would go out in a minute, that it was her boyfriend waiting for her. But instead, Mariano got to the door and asks him to leave, which he did immediately. After that, Mariano went back to his room, as if he hasn’t done anything wrong, it was a weird situation. I think the problem was because Mariano doesn’t understand English very well. It was a misunderstanding.
Mariano seems upset for the extension issue, which is not my fault. I told him it had to be through Airbnb not direct with me. I send him the extension. Next day he says, he already accepted the extension.
The night before his check out day I came back late and Mariano was already sleeping. I check my mail and notice that I didn’t have any acceptation of the extension. I thought he changed his mind, and will be leaving after all. At 11 am next day, Mariano is still in the room; I knock his door and told him that the maid will be at 12pm to clean the room, because it’s checkout time.
Then he insists that he paid already for the extension. So, I contact Airbnb by phone. The employee confirms that no extension was approved or paid by him.
I didn’t want to deal with a guest that doesn’t pay, and lies, so I asked him to leave. He got upset saying to me that he doesn’t have money to pay for another place. He asked for couple more hours from check time to take a shower get ready and look for another place. So, I graciously extend free hours to his leaving time, even when I had to pay the maid for the extra hours of wait. I was polite not to mention anything of this in my review of him. It’s not my fault that he didn’t have money and had to struggle to move.

  • I enjoyed my stay with a very friendly and helpful host. The location was ideal for a day at the beach and a short walk to town and the marina. I would absolutley stay there again.

I am living in Cabo San Lucas for over 10 years now and I know this town very well :). I teach English and Spanish from Monday to Thursday and enjoy weekends painting or at the beach. Ask for Spanish classes when you rent the room if you are interesting.
