What an absolutely lovely house! It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The panoramic view from both terraces was breath-taking and we spent many days enjoying it over a glass of wine! Cristiana and her Mum were really helpful. Her mum Vanda us and showed us around and they were always on hand to help- they resolved a small problem with the water very quickly. We'd highly recommend a visit to the village Roccasecca nearby in the mountains- there is a great local butcher and ancient ruins to explore. We also had a lovely afternoon in the historic monastery by Cassino- Montecassino Abbey. It is really easy to drive into both Rome and Naples via the autostrada for day trips and there are beaches nearby at Formia. Be mindful that access to the house is via a steep driveway, so we parked our hire car at the bottom and walked up. Also, bring insect repellant to avoid the local mosquitos - but don't let that put you off visiting this idyllic spot! Most of all we enjoyed quiet evenings enjoying local produce on the balcony watching the sunset over the beautiful scenery. Thank you Cristina and Vanda!
