This apartment is set in a beautiful, central location which we found very convenient during our stay. The host met us at the apartment, even after we were delayed an hour in traffic, and went through all the appliances with us. The apartment has everything one would need in terms of cooking facilities and bathroom facilities. It has a nice balcony with a beautiful view of the street and gets lots of sunlight from these large windows. There are lots of mirrors and windows, making the entire space very light and airy.
Only negative would be that the apartment was a little dusty, with the floor especially needing a good clean. A portable air conditioning unit would have been handy as well, seeing as the time we were there the temperatures got very hot.
The reservation was canceled 31 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My wife and I stayed here over the New Year's period. This apartment is great, with all the amenities. Excellent location. Walkable distance to tourist sites. 3 minutes to closest metro station.
Great modern apartment. The exposed wooden beams give it character. It looks like it was recently refurbished. It also has quality fittings are all the amenities you can ask for. The pictures make it look bigger than what it is, but it is by no means tiny (I guess about 35 square metres of living space). Even though we were there in winter, the place has several heaters that keep it sufficiently heated.
It has the smallest lift you'll ever see. Just enough to fit 2 people, or one person and some luggage. But it is very useful since the apartment is on the fifth floor.
Though not dirty, the apartment was not the cleanest.
Linen is supplied, but you will have to make your own bed. In our case, we were looking to just crash after 13 hours on a plane. Making the bed with new linens was the last thing we wanted to do.
Fantasitc location. Walkable distance to major sites (which is probably what you want to do in Paris anyway). About 45 minutes walk to the Eiffel, 30 minutes to the Louvre, 10 minutes to the Latin quarter etc. If you're lazy, the metro is 3 minutes away. There is also a taxi rank at the end (or start) of the Rue du Dragon.
The street itself is quiet, even though it has a few restaurants on it. There is a bakery 50 metres away so you can get your morning baguette and croissant fix. The closest supermarket we could find was about 10 minutes away.
Despite some small negatives, we would recommend staying here. Would give 5 stars if it was a little cleaner.
We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and size (+/- 60m 1bdrm) for Paris. Appartment is newly renovated so everything is functional (kitchen, bathroom). Balcony is large enough to sit outside for a drink - rare for Paris. Bedroom is to the back so no problems of noise at night. We would stay there again.
