Room for rent 10 min from back gate

House - Private room · Riverbirch Place, Jacksonville, NC 28546, United States

Passing by or need a place to stay? Stay with us! We are one of the most economic stays in town. Seriously, compare us to the overpriced hotels in town.

The Space

We have a room for rent that accommodates 2 people. 10 min from the Camp Lejeune Piney Green back gate. The rates are as follows: $20 per night, $140 per week and $550 per month. All utilities included. Full access to the kitchen, laundry room, living room, back yard, garage, etc... Groceries are a separate issue.

The place is clean and we rarely have people over. We are not party people. We have 2 dogs and a cat. They are friendly. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Everything is pretty close by. We have rented our room several times to military folk and students. Our goal is always to make you feel at home for however long you and your guest have the pleasure of staying in town.

Our bedroom comes with a queen size bed, desk with chair and dresser too. Cable tv is available along with free Wi-Fi. (Excellent Strength).

Getting by is best in a personal owned vehicle. Although if you fly in, a ride from and to the airport is no problem. A ride elsewhere is possible if we’re not too busy in exchange for some gas money.

We look forward to meeting you. Please make a reservation quickly, we get booked very fast! Thanks for reading. ☺

  • 20 bucks a can you go wrong? Great location. Nice neighborhood. Clean. Cutest little friendly dog.

  • We went to check out Jacksonville for my son that will be relocating there soon. The area, home, and room were very nice and conveniently located to everything we came to see. Unfortunately, it was a very quick trip and we did not get a chance to talk with Amanda and Manuel, but we will definitely make plans to stay with them when we visit again.

  • Had a great stay at Amanda & Manuel's house. The room was very clean & had a mini fridge, wifi, tv & bathroom nearby. The house is less than 2 miles off of the Atlantic Coast cycling route, making it a convenient stop for the night. They have two very friendly dogs which kept me entertained for the evening. Very welcoming hosts made me feel right at home. And the price can't be beat!

  • My husband and I found out last minute that our closing date on our house got pushed back so we had to find a place to stay on short notice and Amanda was able to accommodate us immediately. Amanda was an awesome host and the room is nice, comfy, and cozy with your own bathroom and high speed internet. Her house is really nice too with a big kitchen and the room comes with mini fridge, dresser, cubby, and closet so we felt pretty at home and hand plenty of room to store all of our stuff. The neighborhood is really pretty and quiet and felt safe since the neighborhood kids play outside during day and the evenings. The house right up the street from Food Lion and a bunch of other stores so the location was convenient and relatively close to the Piney Green gate and a short drive to Western Blvd. I highly recommend anyone to lodge here.

  • A very nice and clean room! Amanda provided us all of the basics (towels, clean sheets, and a nice organized room). The place is a little set back in a housing development, so make sure you get good directions when going there, but other than that, the room provided a good economical place to stay on our travels.

  • While, the picture doesn't show it, the room had a nice full size bed and cable tv. Amanda also provided us with the wifi password if needed. We only stayed for a night, but the space met our needs; a place to rest our heads, clean up and prepare for the next leg of out journey. Amanda was a friendly, thoughtful host. She has lots of furry pets (who are adorable by the way), and was a responsible owner. If traveling through Jacksonville in the future, I would stay with Amanda.

Hi, I'm a full time student. Prior service. (Marines) I've lived here for 6 years. I love my dogs and I love to read. I'm easy to get along with. I think of myself as a respectful and quiet person, but still sociable.
