Named one of the “Coolest Small Towns in the United States” by Frommer's Travel, Murphys is just a short walk away! Experience the gold rush days of the mid-1800’s with a stroll down charming, historic Main St. with numerous restaurants, shops, galleries and over 24 wine tasting rooms!

The space
Attention to detail is apparent as you enter to find an open-concept living/dining/kitchen area with 9-ft ceilings and high end finishes throughout. The home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests with 1600 sq. ft of living space on a 1/3 acre flat lot.

The state of the art, gourmet kitchen features an oversized 10-ft granite island - ideal for gathering with a group. The living area leads to the professionally landscaped rear yard perfect for relaxing, bbq-ing on the Weber grill, and enjoying mountain views.

Awake refreshed in the primary bedroom with a King Tempur-Pedic bed and large en-suite bath with a spa-like oversized shower. This bedroom also features a sliding patio door opening to the rear yard.

The 2nd bedroom features a Queen bed and view of the beautifully landscaped rear yard. The 3rd bedroom has two Full beds and overlooks the large, private front yard. Both the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have new Simmons Beautyrest mattresses and large closets.

Enjoy high-speed Xfinity internet and 3 smart TV's (55" in living area, 43" in two bedrooms). Ceiling fans in all bedrooms. The laundry room features a new GE front loading washer and dryer.

A starter supply of kitchen and bath basics are provided, along with Starbucks regular and decaf coffee and an assortment of teas. In addition, a welcome basket containing snacks and bottled water is provided at check-in.

Guest access
Guests have use of the entire home including the attached, oversized 2-car garage with a standard 220V electric vehicle car charger - NEMA-14-50 outlet. Must bring own car charging cable.

Very easy access, single level floor plan with no steps.

Other things to note
Known as “Queen of the Sierra” Murphys was once frequented by notables such as President Ulysses S. Grant, author Mark Twain, financierJ.P. Morgan, speaker/activist Susan B. Anthony, and outlaw Black Bart to name a few.

The historic buildings in town have been preserved bearing original stone walls, iron shutters and white picket fences - some with hidden garden pathways and courtyards. Never lacking for things to do, this vibrant community hosts numerous events, festivals and concerts throughout the year.

And while you're downtown be sure to check out popular Murphys Community Park just behind Main St! The scenic, creek-side location provides a great place to picnic, play bocce, visit the seasonal farmers market or attend one of the park sponsored events or concerts. And kids (or kids at heart) enjoy splashing around in the creek during the summer months!

If you decide to venture out of town a wealth of recreational opportunities abound! This four-season destination has something for everyone! Within a short drive find numerous wineries, spectacular hiking trails, scenic drives, lakes and rivers, cave and cavern tours, zip-lining, boating/kayaking and golf courses. Calaveras Big Trees State Park and Columbia State Historic Park are just a 20 minute drive from Murphys. And in winter enjoy one of the local ski resorts or snow play areas!

The exceptional location is also just a 5-minute walk to other restaurants and businesses including popular brewery and eatery The Watering Hole, full service grocery store Sierra Hills Market, the adjacent natural foods market, and Murphys Pizza.
